I know that everyone is different-- I have a cousin dx with triple ++ and the recommendation is A/C then taxol with herceptin and radiation.  For some reason, I was surprised to see the A/C--is this a common protocol with +++ or her 2+?

    Hi Carole - If she is node negative like I was, they might recommend TCH x 6 which is what I had. My onc said they usually do AC-TH for node positive patients.

    It is a stronger protocol. If she is node +... then it is what she needs. I am not sure about node negative. I did AC... and then T with herceptin also... Almost three yrs later... node positive... I am here... and doing really well.

    This is a tougher chemo... but, in my opinion, WELL WORTH IT !
