Odd feeling on right side--concerned

I have been having terrible episodes of nausea comes and goes. Not morning sickness as I just had my cycle. So just kind of just dealt with it. I have been having a uncomfortable feeling under my right rib cage, kind of at the bottom where is slopes down. If I lean against my desk while sitting in my chair it just feels odd. So of course after reading around in the Internet I am all freaked out about liver mets. I have a call into my PCP, I have seen her since I was 19 and I am 39 now. We have been thru lots and lots over the years. I trust her totally and rather run this by her before I go freaking out to my oncologist.

I have no gallbladder so that isn't it. I do have IBS so keep thinking it is probably just my "guts" but this is just an off feeling. I know my body pretty good.

I am hoping I am just getting freaked out for nothing. Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Hi Hon,

    First of all dont panic.. I know easier said than done.. When we as cancer patients have ANY type of  twinge, pain.. we automatically think cancer mets. I am the same way..How long have you had the pain? Usually if its more than 2 weeks and it doesnt go away, time to call your Dr...and you know your own body.. you know if "something" isnt right.. It could be nothing, like you said IBS  or maybe you pulled a muscle.. but to be sure  see your Dr.. Let us know how you do ok?
