Sloan Kettering in NYC - Good?

Good place to go for consult and subsequent surgery if needed?

Any recs of doctors would be helpful!

    Sloan Kettering is great. Terrific treatment, great nursing staff.

    Cannot recommend a doctor--as my doctor was Dr. Petrek.

    I personally was not impressed with sloan for myself with BC or my dad with Pancreatic cancer. I felt more like a # than a person there, but that is just my experience, others have told me they had good experiences there.

    I love it. They are very organized -- all electronic medical records, they schedule your appointments for you. The place is clean and new. And the staff is incredibly nice.

    I'd recommend Kimberly Van Zee as a breast surgeon.

    (But bring a book to your appts, there's often a wait.)
