-
SherryC...never mind....just start the barbeque! We're going to be hungry when we're finished swimming and playing. Let's see...Jo started the bonfire...we've been throwing all that stuff in it for months and months now...I started the garden...on the way down to the bonfire...Now the flowers are starting to bloom and Summer's almost here...I'd say, it's time for some relaxation...We deserve it!

-
voraciousreader - This is what I envision your garden looking like - it is so beautiful. Yes, it is definitely time to relax. I know we won't let this fire go out anytime soon - but it can wait for now.
-
Jo...That garden is splendid. I could only dream of growing one as beautiful.
You know, we have to keep that fire going...because so many of the sisters on the other threads need it. It's nice that the Goddesses are only a "click" away....
-
I think if we just channel all the fears BC patients fight off on a daily basis the bonfire will become an eternal flame.
-
Chabba - OMG! That would keep it going for eternity - I don't think the fear ever completely goes away. But it is satisfying to watch the flames explode every now and then.
-
And I have some fuel for it. The swelling of my breast has finally gone down enough that i can wear my BBC (before BC) bras--so in go the lumpectomy bras that never were really comfortable anyway.
-
No matter how often I throw in the fear, it just comes back.
Leah
-
Leah - I know what you mean. It keeps rearing its ugly head and won't go away.
-
I'm afraid that is what makes it the never ending fuel.

I just got a call from my MIL...As per usual, she called to "connect with me" and to let me know that I've given her a false sense of independence, because I really am ill but not sharing everything with her. Fuck that. I told her that I did not ever remotely give her a "a false sense of my independence" that I am fine, and that I am not going to allow her to "worry" about MY cancer. I told her that her constant reminders did nothing for me, but only perpetuated the her image that I am ill, and served to hold me down. I fucking throw in that belittling attitude from those that don't have cancer, from those that don't KNOW, and the negative feelings that I get from the ignorance and stupidity that is caused by the uninitiated. (Uninitiated was someone else's words on the OMG thread I LOVE that phrase) I'd throw in my f'ing MIL, but we all know stupid people are never easily disposed of. And besides, it would cause an unecessary rift with the love of my life. Excuse the language for those with more class than I.
-
GirlFriday - If you need some help throwing her in, just let me know. I'm sure Granny will be right next to me and we will make sure she does not get out.
-
GirlFriday-get granny after her she won't know what happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hehe
-
I have a test today, then one on Friday....if my brain holds up. I want to throw all the math questions into the fire. Why do I need to know how to do math...I have a calculator and an Ipad.
-
geewhiz - Good luck on your tests. Math is my worst subject - UGH!
-

-
I am going to throw in my husbands neurologist who wanted to give him a hard time about going to see a pain specialist because she did not come up with the idea of the referral. Also my RO who I have liked very much so far, but was so surprised when I received my radiation summary and how it said two treatments were offered to me that where not and the two treatments he gave me were not listed. Also said I did quite well. I don't know what patient he got me mixed up with. It made it sound like I breezed through radiation (not). I am sick of Dr's

Hi - I want to throw in the fact that my dear friend has just been diagnosed with uterine cancer. I want to throw in cancer - all cancer. Period.
