OMG...Hines and Kym were awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Oh no, I think Karina went overboard with her salsa choreography...grrrrrrrrr What was she thinking???? Tonight is not Ralph's best.
-
I cringed at the injury. Kym is so lucky she was not hurt badly. That is the kind of injury that puts people in wheelchairs for life. All of Hines' weight landed on her neck. They were awesome and I so appreciate Hines' tears - he's a good guy.
Edited to add that I agree about Karina going overboard - way too much. I think Ralph may go home because of it.
-
Chelsa and Mark's rumba was awesome.
-
Yeap, I gree...Hines has a great heart and great moves. I predict he will walk away with the trophy.
-
Loving Hines
I missed the beginning but saw the dance off against Ralph.
-
Dance off ... winner, Hines and Kim!?
-
boooo!!!! alright, that's it! I'm losing faith in these shows .. first, James gets booted off AI and the obviously most talented Hines doesn't get the bonus points! I think maybe the underdog got them...
-
I loved Hines and Kym tonight, but Chelsea & Mark were sharper in the cha cha. I am pretty sure this is going to come down to Hines & Kym vs. Chelsea & Mark. I do think that Ralph is going home based upon tonight's performances. Karina just went way over the top in her choreography and costumes and poor Ralph will pay the price. I have to say, Kristie is looking great. I can't believe how much she has lost and toned up. As ever, JMHO
-
I'll have to catch the entire show .. looks like it was a good one from the bits they showed at the end of everyone!
-
It was a good show but they showed the injury to Kym and I am still cringing from it. It was so scary.
-
Kym is such a nice partner to Hines. I'm hoping she's all better. She's a very classy lady!
-
Here's my wrap up:
Hines & Kym: spectacular in every sense of the word. I was glad they didn't go overboard on the drama of Kym's accident: it spoke for itself. It's a miracle she is dancing tonight. I choked UP when Hines got teary.
Ralph & Karina: 1st dance was pretty good. The 2nd costumes were so awful, and the dance was so over the top, that it was actually depressing to me. The only thing worse was Bruno's tasteless comments afterward.
Kirstie and Maks: fantastic. It's amazing to watch her and think she is 60 yrs old... the costumes and makeup were great too!
Chelsea & Mark: fun to watch. I honestly am glad she's still there, because I hate when great dancers get the premature boot. But truthfully; I don't have any "feelings of attachment" to her.
Which brings me to the reason I loved the format for the cha-cha contest: it gave Chelsea, a great dancer, more of an edge. Now if Kirstie goes home before Ralph I'll eat my words and wish it were different. But it's nice to see a shake-up to the old dance-off format.
-
Cameron, I just watched the entire show and you wrapped it up great. Go Hines!
-
Anne, that was really scary to see Kym get injured and she is very lucky to be okay!
-
Last nights show was great. I didn't care for Ralph's performance. The movements and custome were offensive. I blame Karina for that. Sad to see him go tonight but not surprised. Chelsae dances great but I just can't soften up to Mark. He seems a bit creepy for my taste. I'll be tunning in tonight just in time for elimination. Got to watch my other two favorite shows.
-
I agree with everyone above. Kym's injury was horrific. When they showed it a second time I had to avert my eyes. Hines' tears were heart warming. I've loved him from day one and would love to see him win. I think Chelsea's a better dancer but Hines has more personality and warmth.
I'm pleasantly surprised to see Kirstie in the finale. I've enjoyed her from the beginning as well. I'm a little surprised to see Ralph go (though not disappointed) because in week one I thought he would be the winner; however he's been inconsistent throughout the season and I guess with his injury last week he lost his momentum.
Can't wait for next week. It should be awesome.
-
Ladies - Missed the elimination last night - will have to watch on line. Love reading your comments. I like Hines but I thought he and Kym really played it to the max. After all, what exactly was the "injury"?
-
Toni- you may be on to something. Kym wasn't injured At all thank goodness. It could have been a paralyzing injury.
-
I think the only one they can let go is Ralph. I feel sorry for him because he is a real trooper and has done great so far. However, the real winner of those left now has to be Hines, imo! That man is no Derek but he performs like he is the best dancer on stage! What a charisma he has! He dances like a winner with that everlasting smile and I sure hope he get the trophy!
-
I'm with you 100%, that smile is just contageous. So many of the NFL stars have made it really far in the competition, I hope Hines takes home the trophy.
-
I actually made it home tonight to see the entire show!
I am hoping either Chelsea or Hines wins. Kirstie just doesn't have it to win it.
Sheila
-
Yes, I'm afraid you're right lvt. I've been rooting for Kirstie, but the other 2 are better dancers now.
-
What score did Kirstie get - I missed it.
-
she got 3-9's.
-
Wow, Chelsea and Mark's freestyle was awesome!!! Hines was better in his frist dance, didn't really get his second dance. This is going to be a nail bitting finale!!!
-
I was a little disappointed with Hines' freestyle. I thought Chelsea did better but I voted for Hines. Kirstie fell short of the others.
-
That "Freestyle" Chelsea and her partner pulled off last night was a winner but I still think Hines should get the trophy. That guy is such an entertainer plus great dancer! Kirstie is just proving that being elderly and overweight does not have to keep one from dancing. When she did that cartwheel, I had to gasp for fear she would have a heart attack! She really has done much better than I ever expected her to do but Hines is my trophy choice!
-
I voted for Hines, he is just an all around great performer, when he does the jive, his feet are just flying with a smile that makes you smile, I also like the respectful relationship he has with his partner. I also like watching Max and Kirsty interact, this is the first time I have seen the softer side of Max, he has high expectations of her but is so kind and supportive, they seem to so enjoy being partners. She has done amzingly well, while keeping a positive attitude.
-
So tonight they get to dance another dance and the scores will be added to last nights. The heat is on! Anyone could take the trophy, although all is pointing to Hines and Kym. If they win, it will be Kym's first time and she really deserves it. She has had her share of bad dancers throughout the seasons.
