Seach function -- is it working???

The search feature stopped working for me on May 5 -- there's no record of anything more recent than that. I take it (since this happened before) that most of the women who post here rarely use the search feature, but hurkers and newbies naturally use it to look for answers to their urgent questions.

    Mods -- I noticed just this weekend that BCO conversations are reprinted by Omgili -- a search engine that tracks online forums.  I found this on Google -- I periodically google my username to see what BCO stuff shows up on Google, but this was the first time I'd ever seen BCO stuff on Omgili -- and the first time I'd heard of Omgili.  You might want to check with your techs whether they have decided to allow Omgili to provide the BCO search function?  If your techs don't want your board to work with Omgili search software, then maybe they need to specifically ask Omgili not to compile BCO info... maybe the Omgili search function is interfering with the Board function?

    I just tried to use the search function and the most recent post it showed for someone was May 5th. She has posted many times since the 5th. So, seems to still be malfunctioning.

    I thought it might get fixed with the "system maintenance" scheduled for Wednesday -- but no. Frown

    Well, today the search function seems to be limping back to life -- but with a "black hole" for posts on May 6 through May 10 for my posts, and May 6-8 for some others that I checked.
