 I was in the womens clinic getting checked on for my biopsy and a grandmother to a friend of my granddaughter was there.  She asked what are you doing here, I asked her the same.  He hubby has disorder but dont know why he was at the womens clinic.  Anyways, I told her my breast started hurting and having pains last week and a little warm.  She said aww dont worry about breast cancer its not because breast cancer does not hurt.

 So many misconception and bad information out there. Trust your body or trust your dog.   LOL  

which is true about my dog.

    Breast cancer can hurt. If it hadn't been for the excrutiating pain that I felt in my right breast, then I wouldn't have gotten checked out. It's a myth that may be causing many women to just ignore the pain. If a woman is having breast pain, then she should always see a medical professional. The cause could be an infection, cyst, a hormonal problem, cancer, or other problems. It should never be ignored. You did the right thing by getting tested.

    Thanks Kimala...It seemed the pain is getting a bit worse just intermittent.  The last couple of months I started going to bed at 8 and9pm and tiring out in the day more.  Now that I wonder if that little 2cm of bc is making me act like this.  hmmmm 

     How are you doing now?   I have not even gotten all those diagnosis numbers like you have down.  I guess I will get them when I go to the specialist on May 12 or should I have gotten them by now?  I am clueless since I am just beginning the journey.

    Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I had just noticed that you had posted again. The way my onc explained it was that yes, even though a cancer is small that it can still cause our bodies to get tired because of cell growth and some cancers cause alot of biologic changes. Our bodies react differently to these changes and some cancers require "feeding" which can use alot of energy. So this can cause fatigue. My diagnosis number came from the pathology report after my biopsies and the measurements are from the ultrasound and MRI tests. Of course the tumor size cannot be definitive until after it is removed and measured. Due to the fact that I'm having neoadjuvant chemo and my tumor has shrunk quite dramatically, it's size after my upcoming surgery won't reflect it's size upon my original diagnosis.

    Thank you for complimenting my name. My mother was a very original person and had a flair for anything different. As far as being clueless, we have all been there. I am even a nurse and still had no idea everything that this disease entailed. After getting my diagnosis, I received a crash course in breast cancer 101. It's very much like "on the job training".  I have read several of your posts and I think you're doing a wonderful job of processing all the information and making as much sense from it as any of us can. Mostly this cancer gig doesn't make any sense at all! I will be thinking of you on May 12th. I'm sure after seeing the specialist, you'll have more clarity on the path to your particular journey.
