How Do I Know What I Had

I was 11 years old when I was treated so I was too young to really understand everything. What I do know is I didn't have radiation or chemotherapy due to my age because they said it would do more damage then good. I had 17 lymph nodes removed from my right arm and one was positive. The tumor was the size of a golf ball. Can anyone help explain what classification I would have been in? FYI I am coming up on my 16th year in July of cancer free ( as far as I know).

Bose, I think the only way you'd know is to ask to see your medical records.

    16 years cancer-free is wonderful!

    All the best.

Can you get a copy of your records?  Even if they are very old, they should be somewhere.  You may have to pay for copies, but it may be worth it.

I have copies of everything at my parents. There was so much stuff that the one time I tried looking through it I gave up. Since I was so young I had teams of oncologists trying to figure out why. There are journal articles and reports and I dont even know what else. I will have to dig them out.
