Where are you located?
I've read that triple-negative is about 15% of breast cancers that are diagnosed, but it seems like there's a lot of people on this thread.
Just curious if environment has to do anything with being diagnosed.
Anyone else from Ontario, Canada?
I tried to ask the oncologist and I am curious to see how much experience she does have with treating TN.

If 15% of new cancer cases per year are triple negative, wouldn't that be at least 30,000 new cases of triple negative per year in the U.S. alone? Way more than on this thread! I am from NJ but have lived in the SOuth and Midwest, so I don't think where I live/lived is a factor.

I grew up in Oakville Ont. but I haven't lived there for 25 years. My next door neighbor here in NB is a TN and was diagnosed 4 months before me. We think its our water. I guess we are all hoping for an answer as to why this is happening. I'm begining to think there isn't one.

I'm in Toronto. There's a pretty big range of locations represented here, so I doubt local environmental factors have much to do wtih it.
