breastbone pain

i am experincing breastbone pain just above the original area i had brest cancer, its 4 1/2 years since diagnosis, ive had an xray today and im now waitng for results. im worried andwaiting is horrible, any advice would be much appreciated, thank you. hugs

    Dawn, I don't have any advice for you but I wanted to say that I agree - waiting is the worst!!!  I hope everything works out for you.  Please be sure to post when you hear the results.  Hugs!

    dawn, hang in there.  you can still have pain and issues from rads. i had four broken ribs 6 years after rads...combination of rads...arimidex...coughing...not cancer.  of course; though iit was. remember; there are other indicators....ie...blood work...tumor markers... the x ray is the right call in the early stages....

    it isn't always cancer but it is prudent to always get things like that checked out. keep on*

    thank you for your replies, i am still waiting for results and getting very frustrated, it seems the system shows i have had the x rays but no one can find the results. hugs
