Health Insurance in South Carolina

Hello,

I am a 3 year survivor from microinvasive DCIC.  I am wondering if anyone can offer advice on how is the best way to obtain insurance coverage in South Carolina.  Both my husband & I are self employed & are moving to SC for financial reasons.  We will need coverage for our 3 young children as well.  Any input is appreciated.

    Get it through your business you only need the two of you for group insurance. That is what I did. I am in California, but I don't think that it should make any difference.

    Thank you Illuistro!  I just learned that some states have a high risk pool for those who have a pre-existing condition. I don't know which route (the business way or high risk pool) will be cheaper.
