Morning Becky,
Found myself thinking of you this morning. Spring has finally come to Boston and it has been perfect. Warm days, cool nights with almost no humidity. I am playing a really difficult concert tonight so I have concert-xiety. How is your garden coming along? You must be in full bloom by now. Hope that your days are comfortable and pleasant.

Hi Becky,
I've been away from the boards for a while and am just catching up here. So good to hear you are enjoying the glorious sunshine. For the edema and weight loss issue, have you tried something like the protein enriched nutri drinks? Ask hospice about them. They are light but contain lots of calories and protein which will help reduce the swelling. I normally drink them very cold so they're almost like a milk shake.
Just a thought!

How you doing Becky? ((((((((hugs))))))) hope you are relaxing and resting!
-
Thinking about you today.
-
me too. i took the milk shakes during chemo, and they worked fine. if you can tolerate them, crackers w/peanut butter has great protein, also, and keeps nauseua in check... thinking of you... 3jays

Hi Becky,
I have been thinking of you so much lately. I do hope you are feeling better and that the miserable edema has continued to go away. Allso hope you are able to eat and gain some weight. Wish I could give you a few pounds. I'd be only too happy to do so.
I do hope you are comfortable and please know that I so admire your spirit. Rest and please take good care.

Just wanted to say hello, wish you well, and let you know that I have been taking care of my Dad, with help from hospice, since he was diagnosed with advanced stage colon cancer two years ago. They are a blessing, and I am grateful for their help. He had very good quality of life until he broke his hip in September. I have no regrets about going with hospice rather than attempting treatment. Hugs to you as you go forward. Wishing you many sunny days to spend with friends and family.
-
Hi Becky...
Just thinking of you this morning... I hope you are comfortable, and enjoying these beautiful CA. days!

Dropping by to say "hi". Hoping you're feeling ok and that you are able to get a little sunshine. That's all for now.
-
Becky,
I will be planting pansies today. At long last, I think spring is here in Colorado. I am going to plant a flower for you and name her Becky.
Hugs,
Lane
-
You are an example of a warrior, I send you a hug and thanks for sharing..

Today was supposed to be rain and thunder, and much to my delight, the sun is shining brightly. Now I just have to decide between staining the fence and painting the front stairs. Does any of this sound like fun?
Maybe I will make bread instead. It does love to rise quickly in this weather.
