Please pray for me
I am scheduled for a pet scan tomorrow. I have back pain and numbness in my arm. My physical therapist thinks there's a problem in my neck. I'm so scared that it's the cancer in my neck.
I've been in a stress coma all weekend. Please pray for me. Pray that it's not cancer.
I'm TN, so a recurrence is particularly terrifying.
Thanks,
Brandy

Prayers and hugs to you!

I'm stopping to pray for you right now, Brandy, and I will tomorrow as well. Hopefully, it's a pinched nerve or something equally B9. (((Hugs))) Deanna

I'm jumping on the prayer train as well, Brandy. I too am triple negative so I well know your fear. Just remember, there are many situations that can take place in the neck and NOT be cancer yet give you the symptoms you are feeling. With this freaking disease, there are no rules that it appears to follow, especially with us triple negs, but we are all here for you and will hold your hand no matter what it is. You are not alone, nor will you be. I am wishing you the best.

The pet scan shows a hot spot but the chest CT from last week and the CT that they did during the pet show no anomalies. My bones show no thickening or lesions and my lungs are clear. The hot spot looks to be attached to the rib, but they can't biopsy anything because the biopsies are CT guided and nothing shows up on the CT.
My doctor feels strongly that the scan is showing inflammation. I do have pain when I breathe that started with a cold and cough. I'm praying that the pain/hot spot is a pulled muscle or ligament. I'm having a new procedure tomorrow called a bone PET. Hopefully that scan shows nothing in my bones either.
After my surgery I heard God's voice tell me that I was going the be OK and I'm really holding onto that right now. I am sending all of the scans to MD Anderson to my primary oncologist. I live in fl and have so far been dealing with my local onc.
Pray for false positive hot spot. Please. Your prayers have helped me with a sense of calm.

Any stories of false positive pet scans are welcome as well. No scary stories tho
-
Brandy, Will be praying that everything turns out ok for you. Remember, God is with us all the time, hold onto that and have peace of mind.
-
Still praying for you Brandy. I'm glad you will have the new PET tomorrow and don't have to wait for it. We are all with you!
-
I have been praying for you too Brandy since you posted asking for prayers. Plus I pray for all on BCO and a cure. Hoping your results so far have eased your mind a bit.
-
I'm sending up my prayers. Listen to that voice that you heard Brandy. All is well.

Brandy,
Don't be afraid - whatever may come. It's nothing - NOTHING. Okay, we have cancer. LAUGH, LOVE, & LIVE. Make the most of the time you have and LIVE.
Brandy... Shake it off and be a WOMAN about it.
Everything will be okay. BELIEVE and continue to believe despite the bad.
