This is my second time around and have not started chemo yet, but I do remember 8 years ago when I went through chemo my chest, up to my collar bone felt weird after chemo, I always worried about it and the docs would do their lump checks and everything was fine. Not sure what it is, but mention it to your doctor. Mine was a strange, oversensitive feeling, almost burning sensation but not. Looks like you had a great response to chemo!

I had chemo before surgery too, triple neg, taxotere and adryamicin together.  I had weird sensations in my chest too, often wondered if it was tissue trying to heal after the biopsy, had LOTS of bruising, the OC and BC thought my tumor was over 7 cm by feel - my US showed 4 before biopsy, I never asked for clarification I knew I was in for chemo to shrink, surgery, and rads.  Currently in rads.

I did A/C then Taxotere and though I can't say I remember the exact sensation you're describing, I will say chemo had me feeling all sorts of things.  I responded to chemo very well, I had IBC that went away, tumor shrunk and at BMX only residual cancer was found in LN's.  It sounds like you're responding too, very happy for you!
