Glad you had a good time Alicia...sounds like a busy week so good thing you are relaxed!
-
Hi Everyone! Just checking in to let everyone know I am back and had a wonderful time. Will try to catch up - 4 pages since I have been gone - but make no promises. Trying to get back to reality. Long drive home and am pretty tired. Gotta pay bills, do laundry and buy food tomorrow so not a work day for me. Alas, will have to go back on Tuesday. Still don't have all the suitcases unpacked and don't even want to look at all the laundry in front of the washer.
I do have some pictures to post but that will have to wait a few days. The camera is still packed.
Sure missed everyone. Now would everyone please get out of my suitcase. It sure was heavy. Hope no one get hurt getting out. Watch those fingers and toes. LOL
Love & Hugs
Happy Easter
Jo

Tbanks Sandee - Had to move the suitcase from the bed to the floor - hope I did not hurt anyone. Need a good night sleep - did not sleep well last night - guess I was thinking about getting home. Sure need this - did not think about BC all week - did really miss everyone.
-
Jo and Alicia glad you girls had a good time on your cruises. We sure missed ya'll around here.
Jo thanks for the ride I had a great time, I am out of your suitcase and at home now.
-
I think everyone is out of my suitcase now. Glad of that. I have to unpack the rest of the suitcases in the morning. At least the one with the dirty laundry is done. I wouldn't want anyone to end up in th washer. hehehe
-
Jo & Alicia, welcome back!
How was the vacation?
Anxoius week this week. Sister flys in from UK on Tuesday. My daughter has her specialist appt and I have my annual mammo since dx. Have to say I am really nervous about mine but stressed about my daughters.
Filling my glass as I type.
-
Best of luck to both you and your daughter, I can't even imagine how stressed you must be about her. My heart is especially with your child. Breast cancer should not even be of concern at that age. No child should ever have to face it and I'm sure she is more aware of your concern than the average child would be. I pray for you both and truly believe she will be fine.
-
swanseagirl. The cruise was wonderful. Already planning the next one in 2013.
Best of luck to you and your daughter. Hope you have B9 results. Breast cancer should be the last thing on your mind for your daughter. Sending good thoughts and prayers that she is alright.

Wow. I thought life was starting to get back to normal, and now I wonder if I'll be developing a new definition of normal for our family. My husband was hospitalized today for diverticulitis, is getting IV antibiotics and we'll see in a few days if that can help us avoid complicated surgery. He's had quite the year supporting me through BC, and now it's my turn. I find it hard to believe that stress doesn't play a role in developing such diseases. I feel for those of you who also have family members going through their own health concerns, and hope that your whole extended families (and friends) find ways to support each other and navigate through these tough times together. I feel fortunate to be able to ask for support, and have many people who are able to support us. Thanks for your listening ears. Time for my melatonin and a good night's rest!!
-
Caroline - Best wishes for your husband's speedy recovery. Hope he does not have to go through surgery.
-

Jules here hoping for B9 for you and your daughter.
Caroline-hope your DH is able to heal quickly and avoid surgery.
Tink & June-been praying for both of you.
Sandee are you starting yoga today?
Here is a tammi question. For those of you who have hot flashes do you notice that they get worse with your cycle. I have had a hysterectomy but still have my ovaries. I notice that I seem to go through times where my hot flashes are worse and then they get to where it is almost nothing. Wondering if it has something to do with how much estrogen my body is producing?
-
June - Please get out of my suitcase now. I need to get them put away. I just saw Tink leaving.
Sherry - I can't help you with your question as I have been post menopausal for over 3 years now. I'm sure someone will chime in and give you an answer.
Any plans for a pillow fight this weekend?
-
