Happy easter Ladies.you are all in my prayers.

-
Mum, is that your boquet??? If so, show us more! It's just spectacular....sigh.....
-
No Barbe I stole it from flickr.I was amazed how they made a cross out of flowers. Spring flowers are my favorites .
-
Well they would have been in a foam cross, of course! Hate to blow your magical image, but hey...
-
So many different varieties in one arrangement.And you can't see the foam underneath
Ajob well done. -
There is Spanish Moss on the foam. Hate to be the bearer of bad news....

I DO love the variety though, so delicate and wispy.

Low in the grave he lay, Jesus my Savior,
waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave he arose;
with a mighty triumph o'er his foes;
he arose a victor from the dark domain,
and he lives forever, with his saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
Vainly they watch his bed, Jesus my Savior,
vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord!
(Refrain)
Death cannot keep its prey, Jesus my Savior;
he tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord! -
I was sort of sad today because our church holds Easter Service at a local park's amphitheater, and they chose music to interest those who were spending the day at the park (Not church goers). There was not one old Easter hymn. I realize who they were trying to reach, But, I would have loved to hear Old Rugged Cross, or Up from the Grave. In fact Via De la Rosa would have been nice. All in all it was impressive to be there worshiping with 5,000 other people! But, the church is not the music or the location, it is the people gathered to serve Him. I understand that, and that...makes me happy!
-
Meece...I will be thinking of you as you start your new job.
Good Luck & Hugs♥
-
Thank you! I'll bet I am going to be worn out tonight. I haven't worked outside the house for a full day since November!
-
Beautiful posts!!! I hate the fact that one spelled "solace" wrong....sigh. I can spot a typo a million miles away. I don't always correct my own, as I'd spend more time editing than posting!
Meece, your day will go fast, you'll feel like you will never remember it all, and then the adrenaline will drop at about 6:30 pm tonight and you'll sleep like a baby!
-
Thank you all for our 40th anniversary wishes. I was not online much last week. Radiation fatigue is kicking my behind. I've 2 busy weeks coming up and don't know how I'm going to manage them. Pray for me that I can get appropriate rest to get through them.
Happy Belated Easter to everyone.
Juanita
-
Meece,
praying you have a great day!
Happy Resurrection everyone! This year it was on my mother's birthday! She spent the day with Jesus in Heaven!!!!!
-
What a celebration she must have been witness to, Grace.
It was a great day. There is so much to learn. I will be doing a lot of detail work and the program is one that I have never used before. I think they like what they see so far, but I pray that I will continue to be sucessful. I still have problem with chemo brain. My onc says that it is not common to have memory affected this far out from chemo, but it is a real SE and she did not dismiss it.
-
Meece I definetly have chemo brain as well.My memoryhas never been quite the same.I have noticed it in both shorterm and longterm memories.A good example are my spelling errors.
Sounds like the new job will work out fine for you.((hugs))
-
Barbe I know your biopsy is tommorrow we are all with you with prayers and hugsand sending out good painfree vibes for good results.
