Meece - she is doing fine except that she lost her job. Money is tight everywhere, even in Christian schools. She is looking for another teaching position for the Fall. Thank you for asking! My hubby was just wondering about Matt. We have been so busy travelling and my hubby speaking and he feels very neglectful! Tell him hello for us and that we sure do miss him! The dogs miss him also

Awesome pics.

Matt said she might not have the same job next year. Too bad.
Matt is going through the classes to get him back into civilian life. He says it could be thirty days or six months. Still working on getting the medical paperwork in order. He has saved money and has all his debts paid off, so he will go into civialian life as close to debt freee as possible. He seems in good spirits. He is really trying to figure out what he will do when he gets out.

Her are the rose for each one of us. My husband brought me some about 3 weeks ago and just had to throw them out today I kept one to remember them by. It made my day
-
I hope everyone is having a good week. I see my Dr tomorrow and have cancer support group tonight. I love that place and it gets easier every time for me to speak. I thank God that he knows our needs before we ask.

I went out on an interview today and within two hours I was notified that I got the job. Thanks be to God. It is the same pay rate as the one I quit. Smaller office. Good benefits, 125-plan, 401k with matching up to 4%, PPO health plan (same one DH has for me now), vacation AND sick leave and 7 paid holidays each year. (My previous job had PTO so if I was sick, it came out of my vacation time.)
I pray that this is the right fit for me. DH and I put it into His hands in prayer, and I believe this is our answer. This is just great because EDD has been giving me problems with my Unemployment check and I have to have a teleconference with them on Thursday. I can tell them I am officially off unemployment as of Monday at 8:00!

Thank you all!
I will be running a branch office (one person wearing lots of hats) for a Propane company. Just the office work though, there is a general manager in charge of the sales staff and drivers. I will be doing AP, AR, sceduling, and other stuff yet to be determined. There are a thrid generation company and the last person in this position stayed 20 years, so it sounds steady.
-
I see my Oncologist Dr today maybe it shrunk some more. I believe God can do it. I feel better today a little nausea but not as bad as last night. Will let you all know how it goes.
-
Meece, I always ask how long the last person stayed! I think that is so important. 20 years...that sounds like they were treated well. It all sounds very positive. When do you start?
Lynniea, God could take the whole tumour away if He wanted. He is leaving you to deal with it though. He wants to see what YOU do with the diagnosis. There's a difference between leaning on Him and expecting Him to make it all better.....this is all said with much love. Barbe

Happy dance for Meece now.Thankyou lord.
-
Will be praying that it has shrunk.

Meece, Congrats for the new job and answered prayer! So happy for you!
I finished my radiation treatments last Friday the 15th. On Sunday the 17th our son and daughter in law had an Open House for our 40th Anniversary at our church. It was very nice and so nice to see people again and our Pastor (he had not visited me once at home since I started chemo last September and had been away from church all this time!). Our Anniversary is actually on the 17th.
On Sunday morning at breakfast my husband presented me with a beautiful Precious Ruby (not synthetic but a real Ruby) and Diamond ring for our 40th and that also is my birthstone which he said he had completely forgot it was. We typically don't get gifts for each other for holidays or occasions but he really surprised me with this. He said he wanted to do it because he never buys me anything and that the year I've had with the BC, he felt I deserved to be pampered. On Friday night he had taken me out for an early anniversary dinner, after my last radiation treatment, to a nice restaurant and we had Prime Rib, which we rarely indulge in. So, over all it was a wonderful weekend full of nice surprises and much love. And exhausting!
It is cold in Illinois and my lilacs (favorite flower along with roses) are wanting to bloom but it is so cold. I hope they don't get frosted. I long for the weather to get more spring like so we can get the porch swing out and I can spend relaxed time outside reading and recovering from the treatment now that it is all over. I am still a bit anxious about being Triple Negative but God sails this ship now so I have to put my faith and trust in Him. He protected me through chemo and radiation with minor sickness, and, not even so much as a cold, no time did I have to have a treatment be deferred because of white count and only minor burns and discomfort (which is still ongoing but tolerable) from the radiation. God is watching over me and continuing to
Bless me.Have a wonderful mid week everyone. You are all in my heart.
Hugs,
Juanita
