Hawaii.............I dream about the place........When my husband was diagnosed in 1989 with Pancreatic cancer and was laying in the ICU, and we didn't know what was going to happen to him (pre surgery) I promised him.........."If you fight and get well, I promise you we will go to Hawaii" (that was his dream),............He smiled and said "that's a deal"............Well the first thing he said to me when he was over surgery, back to work, and on his way to recovery..........was......."when do we go to Hawaii.........I said "oh, forgot about that promise".............Again, scared to fly.........backed out on my promise...........and never got there, he died in 1991..........My son said when they were planning to go, "I would ask you to go, but if you do the plane will crash, "daddy will see to that since you broke your promise"..........of course he was being funny, but I told him.................don't worry about it, I have no intentions on going on a plane with you either"........................Still have not gone, and probably never will.........so much for my Bucket List.

I am so opposite you lisa.  How amazing you have seen so much.  I like to travel, and have been to Paris and Fl and Vegas lots of times, but I'm ok with the rest of it.  I am such a homebody, that honestly I'm happiest when I just stay put.  I am off for a short 5 night cruise to Burmuda the weekend but I have been very sick and have plueral effusions now so I am nervous.  We are bringing a wheelchair.  We could cancel but daughter and sil are going so I've decided to push through.  After that I'm staying put.
