Question about skin mets?

Options

Ok..ladies..I'm two years out from TN BC...just recently I found a reddish area about the size of a quarter below my armpit..right above the bra line..this is not on my breast or any of my 2 incision scars..it does not itch..and I really can't even feel it there..just see it...of course it concerns the heck out of me...I'm seeing my onc in a couple of weeks..just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this?

Hi, could it be from your bra or shirt rubbing?  I've had stuff that sound like your description and each thing has resolved in a couple of weeks. Your skin is probably more sensitive since rads.

I have had a multiple skin recurrence, and all 4 presented differentlyt!

A month after treatment I remember having a reddish circular area similar to what you have discribed.  It turned out to be ring worm!!! I was astonished as it certainly didn't meet the discription on the net, but did respond to fungicide treatment!!!  Doc said I could have picked it up anywhere and showed I was run down,

I was DX'd by my primary doc as I couldn't face going back to my onc so soon...

Hoping yours is a similarly benign...
