My Chemo Anniversary!
Yeah..I am now 1 year out form chemo! 8 months of horrible chemo while pregnant ended a year ago today. In the past year I have lost 60 pounds and now weigh close to what I weighed when I got married. I am in the best shape of my life ( despite going thorughmenopause)... Just this morning in our excel strike class we had a contest of how many side boxing kicks you could do against the boxing bag. I did 90 kicks in 1 minute BEATING out the men. I was SO SO HAPPY! I feel so strong inside and out. My business is booming , my foundation kilianskids.com is giving both me and my kids a greater purpose, and life is good.I feel so blessed. .I feel determined, clear minded, and living my life exactly how I want to live it.
I say this to no gloat or brag but b-c I want anyone just starting this journey to know you can do this and a great, happy life can be found on the other side.
I wish this for all of the girls going through TX right now. For those who are just starting a YEAR can bring about HUGE changes. I wish blessings and strength for all of you!

Jen....so proud of you. I could use some of the "business is booming" here, but overall feel the same way. I ended chemo one week sooner than you did, so get the liberating feeling.
I also think that all the exercise helps with the mental recovery. Important message here. The other is that menopause isn't debilitating. That was when I took up endurance events. In my 20s, I wasn't fit enough to do the 40 mile cycling event I did yesterday.
Thanks so much for being an inspiration for all of us. - Claire
