I am 30 years old...found a large lump in my breast 6 weeks ago...had mammo and ultrasound...was told it was a lump of fat, I would say the lump on the outside feels about 1.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm long...could it be scar tissue?  I think it feels hard, but my OBGYN said it didn't feel THAT hard...radiologist found another lump... a fibrodenoma bi-rads 3 that I am getting looked at by the breast surgeon on May 3rd...I plan on mentioning it to her...I also have a similar long thin lump in my other breast in the same general area, only it's not as big...thing is that every so often I feel a very quick pain in that area and I have a dull pain in my left shoulder blade (same breast with large lump) and some "pins and needles" feeling in the shoulder area too...Is it possible for something large to not be seen...I am NOT big chested, laying back the mass is right there, very easy to feel...I can't get it out of my mind that maybe the radiologist was wrong and now I have 3 weeks until I see a breast surgeon for the OTHER small bump...figured I would ask others that have been through this already...I had a breast exam September of 2010 and nothing was felt then...and since I first discovered the lump I don't believe it has grown, but I am besides myself with fear right now and can't convince myself that I am OK...

Hi ~ Not sure why your post seems to have slipped through the cracks, but hopefully this will bump it for you.

It's good that you're seeing a breast surgeon.  I'm sure they will be interested in all of the areas about which you have a concern.  You might want to ask about having an MRI, but so far, from what you've told us (Birads 3, which isn't alarming & almost symmetrical sounding "lumps" on both sides), I don't think there's any reason to panic or worry for the next 3 weeks.

Please let know how your app't. goes!    (((Hugs)))   Deanna

I hope they will biopsy the large mass even though they can't feel it.  Overall this breast just feel different from the other one and I swear I have a slightly swollen lymph node I discovered today after noticing some slight pain in that area upon movement in certain ways.  I am getting more and more concerned...luckily I was able to bump up my appointment with the breast surgeon and am going next Tuesday...it can't come soon enough.  I want this behind me, either with a B9 diagnosis or to deal with this.
