5 years now---

On April 28, I will cross the threshhokd that we look forward too--5 years and cancer free. I was diagnosed in 2006 with Idc and dcis in ny left breast. Both tumors together didn't measure up to 1 cm., but I elected to have a mrm. At the time of my diagnosis, I did not receive chemotherapy, rads, or herceptin...two separate oncs. decided that the mx was enough. And I have to trust that they are right.



Time has moved on-- and I am dancing with Ned. Life has moved forward, and so am I. I am now the primary caregiver to my mother. It is entirely to stressful at times, but I wouldn't miss this oportunity for all the tea in China! But, because of the fullness of life, I feel I must move on.



Most of you don't know me, or don't remeber me--- and that's ok. I have gathered much information from a very amazing group of ladies, and I certainly will never forget any of you. It is my wis, prayer,

and hope that we all be disease free, and that the elusive cure is just around that corner.
