Well I guess since all you gals are all tuckered out I am staying up to play with the boys....I think I could use dome more fun!
-
June, Sherry, Alicia, Sandee - WHACK WHACK WHACK WHACK. Talk about sneak attacks. Man, am I getting good or what?
Tink - You noticed I did not whack you.
I had to take care of some business in the park, sorry I am late.
The eye candy looks delicious
-
Jo was that business with the boy toys????
-
June - I had an emergency with one of the residents in the park where I work. Had to take care of that.
Now, back to playing with the boy toys.
Tink - Where have you flown off to?
-
Oh no ! I missed it again I thought everyone went to bed early.... now I feel bad for using all that makeup on you guys Sandee sent over.... thought I was going to go to sleep but awake I remain....
-
Tink - Everyone did go to bed early. I was in bed but instead, here I am wide awake. I came across another thread for insomiacs and have been doing some posting there. Haven't seen anyone here for almost an hour.
-
Ill meet you over there then!
-
Sounds good to me
-
Wow ladies, you're so fast with your writing and pillow fights, I just can't keep up!
heathermcd - Rest assured about taking Tamoxifen 20 mg. My oncologist told me about new research presented at the San Antonio international BC conference last Dec. Maybe you can access the article this way: www.medscape.com/viewarticle/735740?src=emailthis. Basically, two retrospective studies have shown no correlation between level of metabolizing Tamoxifen and recurrence of BC or degree of hot flashes. Also we don't have to worry about cutting out certain antidepressants. And it's no longer recommended to take the genetic test. I'd gotten the test on my own (intermediate metabolizer) and was asking her lots of questions about all this last fall. Apparently we now stick with the gold standard. Incidently, I seem to be having small to moderate side effects from Tammi (occasional hot flashes at night, 5 - 10 lb weight gain). Then again, I'm taking all those natropathic meds I mentioned earlier, plus exercising almost daily. Who knows exactly what's going on and what helps!
-
East coast girl........ I just got my lab appts. and dr. appt. notices from my drs. office for May......
Remembered looking and noticing letters by the reason for appt. Got curious after reading your post. They are doing CA27+29, OP-CBC CMP LDH and CEA on me every two months.
I didn't notice this on the last sheet they sent me. FIgured I will now look them all up!
-
June, Jo, Tink- a morning WHACK is in order but it is a gentle one as my cat is asleep on all the pillows!! ,,,missed the boy toys....have to hose those firefighters down a bit befor ewe lett them in the door. Very sooty!

Goodmorning ladies.... hope everyone has a wonderful day today... I am still waiting for the sun to come out... I am hopeful though
-

-
Sandee - WHACK back at you. I am offf the make the bed and it was handy. The party was slow last night. Guess it must have been a busy week for everyone.
It is sunny and windy here today. High is going to be 95. It is definitely shorts and flip flop weather.
Good Morning Tink!
-
Good morning ladies! Back from LA and the sun.
Didn't see any movies stars, lol. but had fun visiting some old haunts.
Even went on a few Universal Studio rides with my daughter. Thankfully didn't have a wig to lose, but somewhere in the water at Jurassic Park are my sun glasses and my stomach.
Discovered that I didn't have anymore hot flashes in CA than I do in cold WA. However, wearing shorts and t shirts and sitting on the Malibu beach makes them bearable.
Looks like I missed a few people fights. And Tink, you know you needed to let them out of the closet at some point.
Good to be home girls.

Welcome back Jules - Glad you had a good time in LA.
Just got back from the store and picked up a bottle of Melatonin 10mg timed release. I am going to give it a try tonight and see how it works. Wish me luck - I need all I can get. I so desperately want to get in a good sleep pattern before we leave on our cruise next weekend.
-
Jo955
I am taking Melatonin... it's helping me to sleep, but... I have been having the strangest dreams!Harley
-
Harley - I get strange, vivid dreams from Lyrica. It won't be anything new or unusual if the melatonin does it was well. I just want to be able to fall asleep long before midnight and stay asleep for more than 2 hours at a time.
-
Jules welcome back!!!!! glad you got some nice warm weather..... I shared very well this week and did let them go ...... when they asked too
JO...Good luck with the melatonin... I hope it helps you and you have sweet dreams tonight!!!! If not you know where to find me lol!!! but I hope you do sleep well.... hugs!
Off to dinner with friends see you later ladies!

Tink - Have a great time and don't eat too much - you won't be able to fly. LOL
-
Welcome back Jules glad you had a good time.
OK I woke up this morning with lipstick all over my face. I think Tink did it. Had to scrub it off because I went to a women's conference at a local church with my mom, 2 aunts and one of my cousins. It was a very good day and very uplifting. Something I think was long overdue for me. The speaker was wonderful and the Worship team was outstanding. Have friends coming tonight to stay with us so will be busy with them tomorrow.
Here is a late wack, wack. and did my boys go home?????? or did Tink lock them in the closet again?????
Jo I hope the Melatonin works for you.
Harley I have heard that melatonin makes some people have vivid dreams, but it seems to be working for me at last I am getting sleep. I may be winning this tammi thing after all. Lets see I have been on it for 2 months, it is about time.hehe
-
Harley/Jo- I had weird dreams on melatonin...but I will be interested to find out if 10 works Jo...3 was useless for me (maybe if I had slept deeper I would not have dreamt??) Slept very solidly until 4am today...joined the insomniac thread with frozen yogurt in my lap and then went back to bed until just befor e11am!! Boy..tired!!Spent the day walking, talking for 3 hours on skype wih the pal I was supposed to be visiting in Qatar and then walked some more ....ran into someone I worked with ten years ago and ended up telling her about cancer and heart and and....and her reaction was so appropriate and kind. Told her I would be thrilled if she would pass the word to her friends re. mammogram and cholesterol check but would prefer that I not be identified by name...have to think about why I asked her that but there you go....
Jo - 95...farenheidt?? I am thrilled with the 10 celsius we have right now (38 farenheidt?)...95....I would love that!
Sherry- lipstick...? imagine that! Glad you got it off before you headed to church!
-
Sherry - I think Tink may have them in her closet AGAIN. Last week she had them cleaning her house of all things. Shame on her. May have to talk to her about that. Glad you had a good time but bummer on the lipstick. The party was kind of a bust anyway - not too many people showed up. Also glad to hear you are finally getting some much needed sleep.
I hope the Melatonin works - got 10mg timed released. It is supposed to help me get to sleep and then stay asleep. If not, I will be on the insomniacs thread later tonight.
Dang! I think there is a theme going on here - sleep/no sleep. That is just not right - that is one thing we shouldn't have to worry about.
Sandee - Yup! 95 degrees today. Wish we could get some rain.
Well Ladies, this time next Saturday, DH and I should be in Galveston in our hotel. The cruise ship sails on Sunday @ 4:00pm
-

Tink - If you didn't lock them up - then who did and where are they?
This time next week we should be in Galveston and away from here. Yea! 7 days until we sail. Will pack on Friday. I have most of my clothes picked out - some I have to wear this week so will wash them up on Thurs night.
-
Jo....holiday time is fast approaching..if the melatonin doesn;t work..time to break out the wine...
-
Sandee - I may have ease into the wine. I am taking Lyrica and there is a sticker on the bottle tha says not to drink alcohol. I have a friend who is on a much higher dose and I see her drinking wine all the time. She said it had not effect on her. Maybe it will help me sleep???? Hmmmmmmm!
