    Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.
    Every day with Jesus, I love Him more and more;
    Jesus saves and keeps me, and He's the One I'm waiting for.
    Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.

    Just out of the blue this morning I started singing it.  i haven't heard it in dyears, so I looked in my hymnal and it wasn't there, which means I probably sang it in the 80's.  I am glad you enjoyed it.

    Don't let that get too bad.  It can be pretty rough if you do.  I ate prunes every day to help.

    Lynnia, you HAVE to take something. I still take Sennokat laxative with a stool softener built in. I take 2 every single night. They are non-addictive and won't screw up your system. When my Dad was dying of lung cancer, he was so bad that he said he was going to die of constipation before he'd die of cancer! Your body doesn't need the toxic waste sitting there in your system. You are getting rid of chemo toxins in your bowels too.....

    I take a RX, because my body never did recover in that area.

    Oops, sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you Barbe... it's been quite a week.  SAS told me about this thread and I was looking at the flower pictures my husband has taken over the years and saw the pink dogwood blossom and remembered the story behind the dogwood tree.  If I find anymore stories like that, I'll pass them along.

    Day is done, but love unfailing
    Dwells ever here;
    Shadows fall, but hope, prevailing,
    Calms every fear.

    Loving Father, none forsaking,
    Take our hearts, of Love's own making,
    Watch our sleeping, guard our waking,
    Be always near.

    Dark descends, but Light unending
    Shines through our night;
    You are with us, ever lending
    New strength to sight;

    One in love, your truth confessing,
    One in hope of heaven's blessings,
    May we see, in love's possessing,
    Love's endless light!

    Eyes will close, but you, unsleeping,
    Watch by our side;
    Death may come: in Love's safe keeping
    Still we abide.

    God of love, all evil quelling,
    Sin forgiving, fear dispelling,
    Stay with us, our hearts indwelling,
    This eventide.

    Thank you.

    I thought I would share the cake that they gave to DH yesterday on his last day before he starts his new position.

    Althought the "Congratulations?" was sort of joking, the prayers wasn't.  It isthe type of support he will miss in the new position.

    Meece, is that a joke? Is his new position going to be that difficult? Is that really a cake from his work??? I can't remember what he does...something in the auto industry? Undecided

    Yes that was from work. He works for the largest high school district in ca. He is going over to a department that has had a lot of issues and cleaned house this year. He will be working directly under someone who might get cut.

    The people he worked with are believers and aren't offended by faith references.

    Did you get any feedback or results Meece?

    I don't find that "praying" for you a religious phrase as people us it so lightly. Nice to know it's real!

    (I am copying this to several threads, so I apologize in advance if you are reading it twice.)

    Well the saga continues and I am frustrated.

    * This bx was not like the stereotactic like last time. It was MRI guided so no mammo squishing as last time. Whew!

    * They did the first diagnostic MRI and decided NOT to do the bx. It seems that the area in question has reverted to how it looked in Sept 09 when they performed the last bx. Whew!
    * The nurse who started my IV was able to make it in one stick, smoothly getting it in with absolutely not pain or discomfort. Double WHew!

    * So now I have to have another diagnostic MRI in July. Not-Whew!
    * There is a new spot of interest in the 4:00 position. Not-Whew!
    * They will/can not biopsy that site because it is too close to the implant. Not-Whew!
    * Although I am not menopausal, I had a medical procedure to stop my periods five years ago so I do not know where in my hormonal cycle I am and the MRI should be 10 days post period, so it is not going to be easy to compare the MRIs for the same "time of the month". Not Whew!

    * The radiation damage to the other breast makes comparing breast changes in the other one impossible. Not-Whew!

    So although the news is tenatively good (The abnomality is not as bad as it was) it is still in the abnormal range as it was 18 months ago, I am facing a third MRI in a six month period, and more waiting!I also get to be concerned about another area showing up.

    I feel like the boy who cried wolf. Thank you all for your love and concern and for being with me during the whole thing. I thought of as many of you as my spinning mind could as I was in the machine, it really helped take my mind off things. You are special women!!!

    So, I don't get it! You were all gowned up with an IV (I never got an IV for a biopsy and I've had 3), so you have all this stress like you're back in the hospital and then they didn't even do it??? Holy crapola! Did you charge them for your time at least????

    I hate when I go in for testing and they put a band around my wrist. It's too much like being a patient.

    Dear Meece, Please know that I will pray for you every day, especially for peace and calmness as you are waiting for test results and patience because you are going for other tests in the future. I know it can be so frustrating and unsettling, but what a comfort in knowing that our Lord is with you every step of the way, plus you have all these wonderful ladies on this thread praying for you as well. God bless you and thank you for always praying for us as well. Kathy

    I miss you too, Titan.  Very good to see you.

    CHURCH IN THE WILDWOOD

    There's a church in the valley by the wildwood
    No lovelier spot in the dale
    No place is so dear to my childhood
    As the little brown church in the vale

    (Oh, come, come, come, come)

    Come to the church by the wildwood
    Oh, come to the church in the vale
    No spot is so dear to my childhood
    As the little brown church in the vale

    How sweet on a clear Sabbath morning
    To listen to the clear ringing bells
    Its tones so sweetly are calling
    Oh come to the church in the vale

    (Oh, come, come, come, come)

    Come to the church by the wildwood
    Oh, come to the church in the vale
    No spot is so dear to my childhood
    As the little brown church in the vale

    There, close by the church in the valley
    Lies one that I loved so well
    She sleeps, sweetly sleeps, 'neath the willow
    Disturb not her rest in the vale

    (Oh, come, come, come, come)

    Come to the church by the wildwood
    Oh, come to the church in the vale
    No spot is so dear to my childhood
    As the little brown church in the vale

    There, close by the side of that loved one
    'Neath the tree where the wild flowers bloom
    When farewell hymns shall be chanted
    I shall rest by her side in the tomb

    (Oh, come, come, come, come)

    Come to the church by the wildwood
    Oh, come to the church in the vale
    No spot is so dear to my childhood
    As the little brown church in the vale

    BarbeI was gowned, IV'd and in the machine with the Squeezer on (Not the mammo type, this one was gentler.)  They were deciding to make the approach from the outside 9:00 position, through the breast to the 3:00 position.  It was a go, then the two Medical drs. conferred and called it off.  The trip was two and a half hours eqach way and two hours in the MRI lab.  How much should I charge?

    Kindergarten and JO, thank you for your comforting words.  I will try to just take it one day at a time and not stress about it.  I also belive that God would have made the way cleart if there was something that needed finding.   He has His reasoning and I will not question Him.

    When I was growing up I went to a little white church, so the little "brown" church of the song became the little "white" church we we sang it!  I LOVED that song-still do actually!

    Meece-thanks for the update-our God is faithful!
