Tink How awful for those parents and everyone at the School and on his team. My heart goes out to you and everyone involved.....so sorry, I was wondering where you were yesterday....stay strong my friend!
Weather is nice out today, so looking forward to today.....hope all you ladies have a wonderful day!
-
Gee I missed a good practice session last night. Hope I can keep up tonight.
Tink so sorry for the loss of your son's friend. You can be a big support to them. I lost my son 16 years ago. The shock wears off around 3-6 months and that is when everyone else has gotten on with their normal life and it really hits you. My friends were great because they really encouraged us to keep talking about Willie. I think that was a huge part of my healing process. -
Tink - With what you have been through, I think some happy juice is in order. What is your preference and I will see if I can get some for tonight. I am going shopping for a new pillow. Seems I used my other one too much last week.
Get ready gals for some fun tonight - we all deserve it.
-
Jo did you get the melatonin. I used it again last night and slept really good. Can't wait to sleep in over the weekend.
Yes, we need to give Tink some happy juice.
-
Sherry - On my way to the store now to get some. I did get a little more sleep last night and think I will do okay at work today. TGIF. Gotta save some energy for tonight.
-

And were is Sandee??? maybe she went to work today and will join us later.
-
TinkI feel AWESOME......passed it yesterday and I am good to go now and no stomach pain either......YAY!!!!
-
I'm a little stressed and hoping that you ladies can help me out. My Oncologist mentioned to me that the severity of side-effects directly relates to how well you are metabolizing Tamoxifen (in other words, how well it is going to work for you). I started 2 weeks ago and have had basically no side effects. My Onc says that we don't need to do the metabolizm test because it doesn't really tell us anything. Has anyone had the test and been a good metabolizer but not had side effects? I'm 100% ER positive, so I NEED Tamoxifen to work for me!
-
June - WOO HOO on no stomach pains - FINALLY!
Tink! You are going to be limited on the number of drinks you are allowed tonight. Here is one for 4:00 happy hour.
I brought one for June, Sherry and me - knew you wouldn't mind sharing.
-
heather I have heard that SE's dont' necessarily correlate to how well you metabolize. I did have lot's of SE's at first but most have worked itself out. My MO does do the metabolizing test and I am an extensive metabolizer. I asked if that was why I had such sever SE's and he said could be but not necessarily. Glad you found us on this thread we have alot of fun here and it is great support for those of us on Tammi.
Jo thanks for the drinks they look yummy.
June glad you passed that kidney stone. I have never had one but hear they are painful.
