So found lump near scar.....two US's at 6mo intervals both were 'benign'. Little did I know.....after bilateral mast....that what is often mistaken for a stitch can indeed be a recurrence. I finally had it removed. More extensive surgery than I thought. Waiting for pathology. Am at peace, but ready for answers. I am finding this seems more common than I realized? How many 'scar' lumps have been benign for u guys? Ready either way.

    Well, I'm back. Undecided. If you see my post history...it's been a while. I guess that means healing and health and moving on with life which is good. I am 5 years out. News from pathology report was that my 'nodule' is indeed IDC once again. Healing from surgery, waiting for all the appts to come, and decisions regarding treatment. Looks like I'll be moving over the the 'recurrence' thread...have peace that only God can give!
