Are there some antibiotics which are more commonly used for cellulitis than others? - KC/Christine

Penicillin, Amoxicillin, Cephalexin (Keflex), azythromycin, clarithromycin, clindamycin (oral antibiotics)

I always have cephlex on hand...not sure if that's how you spell it...

My Drug of choice for Cellulitis with a bottle on hand always is .... AMOX-CLAV 500mg 3times a day...... or if you prefer just a TWICE Daily dosage then its AMOX-CLAV 750mg 2times daily for 10 days...........
AMOX-CLAV is " Augmentin "
