I'm about to start this process. I have a another spot on my spine T12, and this is about to be blasted away. Going to use cement to hold in place. Has any gone with this new proceedure?  There are only 200 Cyberknife in the counry.

I fell and my t-12 collasped, they do not know yet if cancer or not.  Sever pain in the beginning, lots of pain now.  I go in on Tuesday for a biopsy and possibe procedure on disk.  Did your area hurt before they found the cancer, mine did not, just started hurting after the fall.  They will not do radiation on my disk if it is cancer until they determine if I will need a rod and screws put in to hold my back steady.  THat has to be done before the radiation.

    Hi kat43,

no I don't think it hurts. But I have cancer on my tail bone and in my hip joint. I've been having pain from that for awhile now and my lower back has been giving me pain. I'm not sure that if its from the T12 or not. The doctors are kinda surprise, at least thats what thier facial expression looked like, when I told them I wasn't hurting in that area.

I've gone threw 12 weeks of radiation for my hip and tail bone last year. And the cement idea kinda scares me. cyberknife is thier new machine and I believe it will work. fingers crossed

I fell myself in my with no one around of course, but no injuries. Thank goodness.

I hope everything turns out good for you. I know your pain and surely hope you will have relief as fast as possible.
