So, the security officer at my sons' school pulled me aside today and told me she needed to talk to me. She had a dream about me that she saw me walking with my younger son and was told (by God?) that I needed to place 5 caramels and 5 pennies on a mountain with the sun shining down on me, and I would be "cleansed" and healed.
Gave me chills... WTF?! I am going to do it tomorrow. Any ideas what this means?

I have no idea about dream interpretation but if you have a mountain you can climb, Go for it.
It sounds like a powerful psychological exercise and maybe it will allow you to feel released from some of the recurrence worries we all carry with us. A photo or video to keep of the occasion would also help.
