Lump under jaw

my neck on the right side has been kinda sore and feels like a cotton ball is stuck inside my skin I thought at first i might be sleeping wrong or truning my head wrong it has went on for about 2 months then a few days ago I found a lump under my jaw was wondering if anyone else has heard of this when I swallow now my ear gets a pain waiting on my doc to call me back but this has me worried any info would be great thx.

you could have swollen lymph nodes.. mine are from metastatic cancer.. but hopefully yours are from a cold or something.
