Well ladies..guess i missed the fun...a great girlfriend found out about the heart attack and got in her car and drove to be with me tonight so we watched movies and ate and I missed the pillow fight...looks like you could have used a referee though! Glad you are all tucked in bed!
-
Well it appears JUNE was the last one standing. She is good with the pillow and knows how to pace herself with her drinks. LOL
JO ~ your sooo funny, I agree Tink better behave or we will have to clip her wings like a little parrot.
Sandee~ glad your girlfriend surprised you ! That is just what you needed.
Have a great Sunday my friends.
-
All you Tamoxibabes missed a great pillow fight last night. Seems Tink had a little too much to drink and had to go to bed early. That bad girl. Thought we were going to have to clip her wings. At least no one was driving - LOL!
Sandee - Glad your friend visited you. Sounds like just what you needed. But we sure could have used a referee - Tink was not playing fair at times. hehe
-
I hate when I miss a good party. That daiquiri seems to have gotten Tink. I got home late and was so tired went straight to bed and had a good night sleep for a change. After my 3 and 4 oclock hot flash wake up I actually went back to sleep both times and did not wake up until 8am. Maybe I am turning the corner, sure hope so. The icepacs and Celebrex seem to be helping with the achy breast so maybe I am finally on the mend after all this time. woohoo
Sandee how fun your friend came and spent the evening with you. -
and I, too, am sorry I missed the party. We have season tickets to our Winnipeg Symphony - the Pops series and last nite they had a performance with special interest paid to Pink Floyd - man that took us back! I could easily become a fan again.
so nice to get out of the house, dressed differently (not yoga pants) and see others.
take good care and have a good one!

Sherry - Sorry you missed the party. I sure could have used your help in keeping Tink in line - hehe.
So glad to hear you are finally sleeping better and the ice/Celebrex is working on the achy breast. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for you and that turning point to better things.
Maybe you can join us next weekend for another sleep over.
I have 3 weeks until I leave for my cruise. Really getting anxious now. The fun is going to start soon.
Have A Great Day Tamoxibabes!
-
Sandee so nice of your friend to spend the night with you glad you had a nice time.
Sherry glad to hear the celebrax and icepacs are working and you are feeling better..
YUP!!! Truth is out now cant hold my drinks very well... thought I might have some wing damage this morning but all is well... wow.... better slow down next time....... or should I???? hhmmm
Jo and June had fun at the party last night... always a blast!
Have a great Sunday ladies heading up to my FIL for a few hours
Tinkerdoodle... haha like that JUne
-
Tink -We are officially changing your name to Tinkerdoodle since you can't hold your liquor. Better give you plain Coke next time.
Had a blast last night - thanks everyone, I needed that.
-
Jo i will have to help out next time with Tink. But next weekend I wont be home so can't do a sleepover Friday or Saturday. But I will be having a good time. My childhood girlfriends (6 of us) have all known each other since we were 5 & 6 years old get together once a year. We normally do it in the fall but this year with my BC they voted to put it off to the spring when I would be finished with treatments and we will make a celebration. So we are off to the Island of Lake Travis Spa resort in Austin next weekend. One of my friends lives in Austin and she has made arrangments for someone to take us out on a boat on Saturday on Lake Travis and also Sunday Morning will be massages in the spa. We always laugh when we get together so I am really looking forward to it. We have one friend who has never quit grown up and drinks too much so she keeps us in stitches the whole time, gotta love her, but I really wish she would take better care of herself.
-
Sandee, I feel like such a smuck. I've been so self consumed with my own problems I totally missed the heart attack.
What happened? How are you doing?
Sending virtual hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Jules

Sherry - That sounds like a wonderful weekend and I know you will have a great time. You deserve some time at a spa - some fun and relax time. Don't worry about Tink - I will keep her under control hehehe
-
Jules- not a problem....we are allowed to be focused on the self...it is what we should all be learning how to do....the heart attack happened last Monday at 2am....started as what I thought was heartburn , realized i never get heartburn....then I had a sore collarbone and by the time I was calling 911, heat and pain were radiating down my left arm....two hours later I was in the CCU with a new medicated stent in my heart, literally clamped to a table so I didn't move my groin and dislodge things, valiumed so I didn't wriggle I guess....(is valiumed a word?) and then sent home three days later...low blood pressure kept me in the extra day....I have been inundated with offers of help and food and love...Gerry was here today and galpals have all shown up on my door and another one coming to be with me a few days...then another one after that so I am well taken care of and have shoulders to weep on when the medication makes me weird....and reality hits. But...I have some interesting stories, was alive yesterday to celebrate my 49th and plan on being in bed before 10:#0 onight to get a good night's sleep...progress indeed!!!
Sherry- your galpal meet sounds GREAT!!!! Where woul dwe be without girlfriends? honestly....where would we be?
Jo/Tink/June/Alicia- we may need to set down some rules for the next pillowfight:) feather pillows only!
Tekyla- next time my friend!

Hi all! Been missing for a few days....and many pages to catch up on!
Sandee, wow!! You have been through it. SOOO glad you recognized it and your heart is ok.
Sherry, what a fun time that sounds like!! I so need a trip....somewhere....lol, don't care where!
But none for me anytime soon.
Well, I am on 10mg of Tamox. I just can't seem to make myself go up yet....Just don't like the way I feel on it. I have the aggravating tummy, overall, ick feeling. Had some stabbing ovary pains last night, twice. That was interesting...never had that before. And depressed and irritable. VERY. I am so miserable I can hardly stand myself!! My poor family.
Today was especially bad. Getting really tired of this train....too much up and down for me.
Oh and not loving that one of my blood clotting tests is still coming back low. Three times now. Go back for more bloodwork again tomorrow. Crazy. I have a HUGE list of things to discuss with my MO next week.
Sorry I haven't been around to help support you all....I just haven't been very much fun to be around lately...and just didn't feel like doing much of anything.
And sorry I haven't addressed everyone, hard to remember what I've read in all these pages...but I'm thinking of ALL of you and hope you are all doing well and having a wonderful, happy weekend.
HUGS!!
-
Sandee Happy belated birthday and I am thinking of you and hoping you are feeling back to yourself........
ECGI think it sucks that you are having such problems with the Tamox. I would try and hang in there a little longer and see what happens. I know it is easier for me to say that than actually do it as I am having huge stomach issues which I guess would be blamed on Tamox. I see my MO a-hole tomorrow and I will see what he says then....thank goodness my hubby is coming with me as I hate to be with him by myself.....yes it is time for a change and I already put in for it.....please know we are here anytime you feel like crap and need to talk.....HUGS to you my friend!!
SherryI will say we will miss you but you so deserve a girls weekend and it sounds like so much fun.......we will be thinking of you but until then we have you all to ourselves this upcoming week.....YAY!!!
Jo and Tink I miss you gals, where are you and why wasn't I invited......
-
ECG I am sorry you are having such a roughr ide right now . We are here for you always you dont have to been in a good mood to hang with us... we are here to lift you up !!!! hugs to you!
JUNE....I"m herrrreeeeee...hehehhe
-
ECG - Sorry you are having a rough time right now but we are all here for you. Hang in there.
Sandee - Do we really have to use feather pillows at the next sleepover? You know Tink does not play fair.
June - I'm here - come out, come out, wherever you are. No fair hiding.
-
JO..feather pillows are ok... I cannot play fair with those too...heheh
-
Tink - Figures - you will always fine a way won't you?
-
