I Come to the Garden...

Have had 3 calls fom Matt so far. Each of them uplifting. He's a special middle son!!!
-
Happy Birthday Meece. I love Irises too. The first time I ever saw them was at a rental house we lived in when I was little. There were hundreds of them, they had gone wild and taken over the whole former garden. I thought they were weeds!
-

Happy Birthday Meece♥
-
So many thank you's to all of you. It lifts my spirits to read the birthday wishes plastered all over the boards. You are special!!!
-
As are you!

An update on PM. They are closing on a house that is closer to her onc's. This will be a good thing as the multi level home they have been in is difficult for her to navigate. She has no more spots on her brain and the rest of her cancer has shrunk by about 40%. Praise Him!!!
She is getting the trial drug and goes to chemo Tuesdays and Fridays. She is pretty tired.
The Lord is Good, and He will be there for her. May the house close quickly and without any additional stress today and may Gopd's wonders continue to be evident in the healing of our sister PM.
-
Praise God!
-
AMEN

Our God is an Awesome God! Praise Him for your miracle baby Jo! Love the story - would have loved to see the amazed doctors!
Mary - may you be surrounded by God's Peace and Love during your travels and the time with family since your SIL's death.
Happy birthday Meece! And thank-you for starting this thread - and E-Lab!
May God be near as you continue with chemo lynnia. One step at a time.....He will guide you through.
-
My thanks go out to all of my lovely friends for the wonderful birthday wishes that carried me through the day. I know I have many people who care about me, and for that I am eternally grateful.

It has been awhile since we have been "singing" so today is the day.
Never Give up
Never be sad or desponding,
If thou hast faith to believe.
Grace, for the duties before thee,
Ask of thy God and receive.
Refrain
Never give up, never give up,
Never give up to thy sorrows,
Jesus will bid them depart.
Trust in the Lord, trust in the Lord,
Sing when your trials are greatest,
Trust in the Lord and take heart.
What if thy burdens oppress thee;
What though thy life may be drear;
Look on the side that is brightest,
Pray, and thy path will be clear.
Refrain
Never be sad or desponding,
There is a morrow for thee;
Soon thou shalt dwell in its brightness,
There with the Lord thou shalt be.
Refrain
Never be sad or desponding,
Lean on the arm of thy Lord;
Dwell in the depths of His mercy,
Thou shalt receive thy reward.
Refrain -
Great idea Meece!!!
Never Let Go of His Hand!
I've seen some trials,
I've shed some tears,
I've had some struggles,
And harbored some fears.
Yet, through the windy days,
The storms and the strife,
I've found just one way to hold on to life.
Chorus:
Never let go of the Lord,
Never lose hold of His word,
Never stop praying,
Never stop saying His Name,
Never let go.
I've seen a brother pull up on the shore,
Weary from battle, with storm after storm.
And if you ask him what kept him alive,
He'll tell you there's only one way to survive.
Chorus
Even in sunshine, when all skies are clear,
There is no telling what storms may be near.
So never stop praying,
Never stop saying His name.
Never let go. Never let go.

Sweet Hour of Prayer
- Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
That calls me from a world of care,
And bids me at my Father's throne
Make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
My soul has often found relief,
And oft escaped the tempter's snare,By thy return, sweet hour of prayer! - Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
The joys I feel, the bliss I share,
Of those whose anxious spirits burn
With strong desires for thy return!
With such I hasten to the place
Where God my Savior shows His face,
And gladly take my station there,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer! - Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
Thy wings shall my petition bear
To Him whose truth and faithfulness
Engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since He bids me seek His face,
Believe His Word and trust His grace,
I'll cast on Him my every care,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
- Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!

I Surrender All
All to Jesus, I surrender,
All to Him I freely give
I will ever love & serve Him
In His presence, daily live.
I surrender all, I surrender all,
All to Thee, my blessed Saviour, I surrender all
All to Jesus, I surrender
Humbly at his feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken
Take me Jesus, take me now -
Hi ladies I am thanking God for one half inch smaller with first chemo. God can do all things even if it's small.

Thanks Jo

No More Night
The timeless theme, Earth and Heaven will pass away.
It's not a dream, God will make all things new that day.
Gone is the curse from which I stumbled and fell.
Evil is banished to eternal hell.
No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.
See all around, now the nations bow down to sing.
The only sound is the praises to Christ, our King.
Slowly the names from the book are read.
I know the King, so there's no need to dread.
No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.
See over there, there's a mansion, oh, that's prepared just for me,
Where I will live with my savior eternally.
No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.
All praises to the great "I AM."
We're gonna live in the light of the risen Lamb.I sang part of this song as a eulogy for my SIL who died of pancreatic cancer a week ago tongiht. We just got back home from a trip to Louisiana to the funeral and spend time with my family. I thank God she suffers no more, but I truly hate cancer.
-
So glad that you made the trip safely. We can all look forward to the time and place where cancer is non-existant.
-
I wish everyone a weekend filled with blessings and joy!!!!!! God bless you all, Kathy
-
-
Hope you all have a great weekend

Soooooooooooooooooo cute. I am doing a Breast cancer walk in May.
-
Our Walk is in May, too.
-
Our walk isn't until June when the last of our igloos have melted....
-
I don't do the walks either. I just do the Survivor's Lap. I did it my first year at 6 months out and cried all the way around. Last year I had to use a cane as my back was so bad. This year? Who knows????
-
I also do the survivor lap. I have tried to get a team together, with no success, so.....
