kira...I saw the surgeon's nurse today. It burned to have the sentinal node fluid drained. My armpit hurt for about a few hours...I feel so much better now. The nurse said the breast is hard due to scar tissue not sentinal node fluid? I' will be seeing a therapist for the cording.

The difference between cording and monitors...the first time, I believe I had monitors. This time, it's cording. I'm staying positve :)

Eveberry, I kind of think the breast is hard due to fluid, but I wasn't in the room....Glad you had it drained. Keep a close eye on it for possible infection and call if any redness/warmth/pain/flu like symptoms.

Cording is clotted off lymph vessels and Mondors is thought to be in the veins, but recently some research showed that they seem to overlap. I posted a thread and I'll bump it.

Glad you'll be getting some therapy.

    Kira
