Apricot Kernals and Hemp Oil

Options

Hello Ladies, I am newly diagnosed with BC grade 3 havent had my pathology report yet so not sure of the details, the plan of action is Chemo either this week or next followed by mastectomy followed by rad therapy followed by reconstruction surgery. I am a alternative sort of person and whilst I will follow the drs recomendations ie: chemo etc I am willing to try anything else. So my brother has been researching this since I was diagnosed and came up with these links detailing the eating of Apricot Kernals for Vitamin B17 and Hemp Oil high in THC. Has anybody else heard of these? and what do you think. Just to clarify I am still going to do chemo etc but will try these as well, and I'm NOT smoking the hemp just injesting the oil or rubbing it in.

    Hi SarahSweety,

Welcome to the club!  You're absolutely not alone in your quest for complementary treatments! The majority of all breast cancer patients take advantage of various levels of treatments.  It's rarely an either-or situation of conventional versus alternative.  The vast majority of us fall somewhere in between, like you're planning.

Be sure to use credible resources when you research.  Watch for red flags, including words like cure, miracle, secret, etc.  Or phrases like "your doctor won't tell you..." or "big pharma" or "I'll only discuss this via private message" or "come to my site..." or whatever.  Ask lots of questions here - there are lots of very knowledgeable people here.  Apricot (laetrile, amygdalin, etc) and hemp/cannabis have been discussed - the search button in the upper right hand corner is great.

Here are a few resources I've found helpful for complementary therapies:

Best of luck with your treatment!
