    Thanks to you all.

Jo, please take care of yourself, and than you for caring enough to check in.  You ladies are sooooo wonderful!!!

Yes, there is no "retail therapy" going on in my life. and usually heading to Ross and shopping for a bargain can be so therapeutic!

Back to care for mom tomorrow.  Hopefully an interview as well.

Hope your week starts in a special and amazing way!

Had a great weekend with my sister and cousin.  We cleaned my moms clothes out and gave them to some seniors who could use them.  We also went and watched a basketball game which UCONN our team won the big east.  I feel a little better still sore from surgery.

Lynniea - glad you are doing well.  Will be in CT around the 28 of March in Stratford and Groton.  The soreness from the surgery gets better over time.  I LOVE my port!  It has been in for almost 14 months and I am so glad that I have had that instead of them having to find a vein each time!

A picture from our recent 30th anniversary celebration!

    Crazy observation today.

I have a biological microscope to look for parasites on our koi (not as gross as it seems).  Today I got it out to check a couple of specimen (healthy, whew!)  On Saturday I had a pair of koi spawn, and took the opportunity to try out my koi raising capablities.  So while the microscope was set up I went and took a few eggs and put them under the microscope.  72 hours after spawning, I observed the heart beat and saw the blood flowing through the little egg.  How amazing that our Father created all things and put such detail into things that most people never see.I was just in awe, DH must think I am a nut!

    Our God is Awesome!!!

    It couldn't.

Amazing Meece! Now, those you checked...will they still live?

Once when we were on our boat we took out our really BIG telescope and my DH set it up on the moon. When I looked in I almost fell over!!! Did you know there are lines from coming out the end like a squash?? The way the moon was tilted was a way I'd never seen in pictures. I was so startled I knocked the cover into the lake and we quickly dis-assembled the rest so I wouldn't do more damage. It was truly out of this world!!

I hope they live.  I didn't squish them with a cover slide, and as soon as I was done, I put them back in the holding tank.  We could have a hatch as soon as Thursday if the weather stays nice.

When they were created, nobody had the ability to see the microscopic or telescopic.  But, He created their detail because it was important to Him.  We are blessed to ba able to see His work in such detail.

Good girl, Lynniea.  You just keep plugging through your tx and God will be right there to hold you up when you think you can't keep on.

I head back for my 6 mo follow up with Onc tomorrow.  We will be reviewing the Mammos, US's, and MRI from the past two months and decide if further tests are needed.  I had 6 weeks of pain during the first part of the year and ironically, since all that squishing is over, the lump has been virtually painless.

DH is unable to go with me, but I didn't know until an hour or so ago.  He is usually with me so I can't make plans to do anything else.  Would have been nice to meet someone from BC.org.

My onc is in Santa Monica, about a two hour drive under good conditions.  It will be strange to be driving with out him.

So sorry to hear that.  God has everything under control.  If I was there I would go with you remember God it there.  Have to get shot tomorrow.  I still have a slight headache and nause.  Praying The Lord will take care of it.  Thanks so much for everything Meece.  Praying for good word tomorrow.

Hope you enjoyed church last night, Lynniea.  Just be real careful about hugging people, and don't be afraid to ask someone who appears to be ill to keep their distance.

Made it to the onc and back with no hitch.  It is 130 miles one way, so I am worn out.  Good news is that the nurse was able to find a vein for the blod draw on the first try.  What a relief.  I must get a MRI Guided Stereotactic Core Needle Bx sometime very soon.  It all depends on getting "Daisy" to get the insurance approveal so I can schedule it.

I would like to ask for prayer one of DH's co-workers.  She found out yesterday that she has Rectal and Vaginal Cancer.  I spoke with her for some time this morning and she is surprisingly composed.  Not near as much info out there fo rher as there is for us.  We are going to plan on lunch soon, and I suppose that once the news really settles in she will need an understanding shoulder.  Please pray for Elaine and her family.  This is just the beginning of her journey.

The little koi eggs began hatching yesterday.  They are not as easy to raise as you would think, so I hope I can keep some of them alive!  In the morning I looked art an egg under the microscope and saw the two chambers of a heart beating and the blood had become red in it.  Amazing!!!
