My Surgeon

I just want to share that I got a call from the surgeon that did my mastectomy. He is a general surgeon in a small community hospital in Ohio. I had my mastectomy 7/09. It's been 1 1/2 years since I've seen him. I have switched jobs thus insurance and I know I called and told them that I wouldn't be seeing him because of the job change because and I wouldn't be scheduling another appt. I just thought it was considerate of them to give me a call to make sure I was being followed up. The girls in the office were really nice. I now see a women surgeon. I told the office assistant that my old surgeon was just too "hot" to see since I've gained weight. She laughed. There really are doctors that care!

    How kind of you to post these remarks!  Yes, there are great docs out there, we just post about the bad ones the most.  LOL, would love to hear what some of the docs have to say about some of their tough patients, too, wouldn't you?

    We must have some good docs in the world or we wouldn't be hanging around to post about any of them.  LOL

    My surgeon is also a general surgeon in Ohio.He is very caring and calls me if he has anything to discuss,test results etc.There are caring doctors out there for sure.

    My PS is wonderful.  Always get a ((((HUG)))) before you leave the office!

    His staff is fabulous too!
