second opinion on mri

Should I get a second opinion ultrasound on MRI?  MRI found three suspicious areas, confirmed by ultrasound.  Three core needle biopsises scheduled for Monday.  Should I get a second opinion ultra sound before then to confirm that they are in fact solid and not cysts?  Thank you for any input.

    hadle - MRIs are a pretty good diagnostic tool and are consistenly used.  If it were me, I would go ahead with the biopsies and wait for the results.  You can always have another MRI at a later date.

    I've had an MRI core-needle biopsy last June.  I felt nothing; and was glad to get the definitive results!

    Thank you for your input.  second opinion doc took one look at ultra sounds and is quite certain one is cancer.  says even if biopsy is negative will order excision biopsy to confirm cancer.  Any thoughts?  thank you
