Good News, Meece! Now you can relax a bit.
-
Good news Meece
-
Thanks. I knew it had to be good.
-
YAY!!! So glad he is okay and you are relieved! YAY!!!
-
Okay all the mothers are happy now♥
-
Cooking dinner now. FUN!
-
Didnt cook.
Had frozen disgusting something to eat. Emergency food.
Im starving.
What are you cooking Linda?
-
I baked some haddock and had mushrooms and aspargus with it. Everyone else had pork chops.
What was your disgusting dinner?
-
I am making pot roast with parsnips and turnips and carrots. I use tapioca to thicken the stew and it's yummy.
Linda and Chris - I think since you have younger kids, you will enjoy this:

My Dad is still the same, he saw his heart doctor and his crackling sound in his lungs are gone but he still can not go home until he gets his strength and stability back. Hopefully another week.
-
I hope he is better in a week Deb.
Diane, I couldn't get the link to work.
-
Thanx Linda♥
-
My DD's Visa came in today. She will be moving to Bermuda by the first of the month.
-
I'm mentally exhausted.
-
Good night Deb. I'm just mental!
-
Good Night Deb
Im happy she got her visa but I know how you are feeling like bitter sweet. It gets much better. Again you are only 2 hours away. I hope Dad gets his strength back soon.
Diane I had so much parsnip last week. That's the white carrot looking one right/ It gives some type of sweetness in my chicken soup I used 5 medium ones.
Linda...Your dinner sounds lovely. I need fish. Didn't have any I don't know how long maybe 2 weeks.
LEAN CUISINE 290 calories 5 gr fat
Chicken Enchilada Suiza
and Mexican style rice. It sounded good but it wasnt. The amount was so small I needed at least 3 portions to get half full.
Sodium 24%
Potassium 10%
Fiber 11%
That was my dinner Linda. Why are you mental? Is it the regular mental or more?
-
Regular mental but I'm having a drink now and it's mellowing me out!
I'm jealous of all the meat eaters on this thread! I miss meat!
Sheila, I buy fish and freeze it in inidividual portions since I am the only one who will eat it! It's quick and easy and good for me.
The pork chops smelled so good to me tonight. I wanted to chew on one of the bones. LOL!
-
I feel like chewing on a half dead Salmon the way the bears do.
I used to freeze it even though i prefer non frozen. Maybe because of the lent fish will be fresher.
Maybe I should have my last pink dessert.
I have FF that sounds yummy. Should I????????
-
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
My friend sent me an email. I copied some of it:
My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
Also, my memory's not as sharp as it used to be.----------
Know how to prevent sagging?
Just eat till the wrinkles fill out.------------
It's scary when you start making the same noises
as your coffee maker.
-------------------
These days about half the stuff
in my shopping cart says,
'For fast relief.' -
LOL!!
-
-
Don't remind me. I need my beauty sleep.
-
Im wishing for Italian Bread.
I rarely eat it.
I want it with butter. I can dream right?
-
That's so funny, Diane. I could see that happening in my kids' school. Not MY kids, though - lol.
Hope your Dad gets stronger and can go home asap, Deb. Glad for your DD that her Visa came - sad for you.
FIL went home today. He went from having pneumonia that wasn't responding to the IV antibiotic to being better in just a few days. Weird.
You are so good eating healthy, Linda. And you were good too, Sheila, eating Lean Cuisine - sorry it wasn't as good as it sounded. I will have to try harder tomorrow - still had some junk today. Filling out my wrinkles - should be all smooth any day now!
-
My brother came from AZ to help me with mom now that she is home from the hosp. She saw he dr. yesterday, and has been put back on complete bedrest. DB and SIL are helping but will be leaving tomorrow morning. I went grocery shopping with Dad to stock up as mom cannot have ANY salt. Dad wouldn't let me put anything in the cart that wasn't on the list. he was adamant. I need patience.
-
Wishing you patience Meece. You have so much on your plate right now. I'm thinking of you always.
I tried to get Jimmy Buffett tickets today for my family. For 4 tickets, the cost was over 800.00! I did not buy them! I used to love to see him every year but the prices are way to much. I wante to bring the kids to see him before he retires. I figured its cheaper for me to take the to Key West and see him there!
-
Meece...patience patience patience!
Its a beautiful day here. Sun is shining.
I will take a long walk. and get some most needed fish
I hope you are all doing something you like.
♥
-
Wow that's a lot of money for tickets.
Hugs Meece, my Dad tests my patiences all the time. I complain to the nurses that he didn't have shower when he is suppose to, then I find out he is refusing them. GRRRRR. They can not force someone to take a shower.
-
I got to go for a ride on the motorcycle. I am so happy! It really makes me feel like spring is here. My favorite part about riding????? NO KIDS!
