My niece is also in Cambodia no word from either
-
why is it so hard to get aqcurate info in this day and age. You would think with the computer we should be able to log on to news anywhere I am not having any luck
-
Well i think it is because there is so much communication going on that everything is stopped up.
-
Aparently Taiwan was hit but no real damage nothing serious thank god.
-
Thank God!!
-
I think cambodia is safe the waves are heading the other direction.Meece is your so still in Hawai?
-
No, he is in Japan, Okinawa to be exact.
-
Also very scarey
-
Yes, I certainly expect a call today.
-
I'm thinking of Grace, Mum, and Meece/Matt as well as all those who've gone through this horrid event. Just got to a computer but I've been very worried all morning about my BC sisters.
Lynniea, hope you feel better soon.
Edited to delete unneeded information - Sorry.
Suzette
Diagnosis: 4/3/2009, IDC, 2cm, Stage IIb, Grade 2, 1/3 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2- -
I took a little nap and now I feel a little better. I might go to my moms house tomorrow my sister and cousin are coming down. My cousin started a walk for Breast Cancer in my name in May. She is getting our whole family who can do it.
-
Suzette, Lynniea hasn't started chemo yet; she just had her port put in and a sentinel node biopsy. The meds are pain meds.
Glad you feel better Lynniea!!
-
Sorry Lynniea - I guess my chemo brain kicked in. Feel better soon.
-
Just got off the phone with Matt. He (and the guys at work) never felt a thing. They still don't feel the aftershocks. They are still on Tsunami warning, but everything is nice and safe at this time.
May God comfort those who have been impacted by this disaster.
-
Thank god Meece Matt is fine. I heard from my husband said not to worry he was on his way home.
Prayers out to Japan though that was a terrible quake combined with Tsunami damage.
-

-

-

-
I think that picture is so gorgeous. I'd love to have a large one hanging on my wall!
-
Mom is back on complete bedrest, her BP has skyrocket, she's anemic, and her potassiun is tanked.
My DB and SIL arrived Wednesday but leave tomorow. I wil be caring for mom on my own. Yes dad is there, but he is getting edgy with mom being so sick. I rarely ask God for patience, but I need it with Dad. I know he is scared. She is not allowed out of the house except for dr. appts. Church is the focal point of all of their social activity so this is going to be felt deeply.
Lyniea, glad you are feeling better.
-
Dear Lynniea, Yes, showers make you feel so good again, after surgery!!!!! have a great weekend. May the Lord, give you peace as you start your journey, knowing He is with you every step of the way!!!!!. God bless you, Kathy
-
Meece, would there be anyone from the Church that would help occasionally? You and your family are in my prayers.
-
Dear Meece!!! You have alot on your plate right now. Prayers are coming your way for strength, peace and patience, but I truly believe you have all three already. You are such a wonderful servant. God bless you, Kathy Prayers also for Mom and Dad!!!!
-
Thank you. We spent the afternoon with the family. SIL baked some main dishes so they could be frozen, and I made a huge pot of taco soup and froze several containers. Everything must be made with zero salt. But this will help to make sure they both eat well when I am not there.
DH said yesterday that perhaps God is telling me it is not quite time to get the job I think I want. Maybe a couple more weeks. I don't know, but it is getting tight financially. But I will try to leave it in His hands, and stop trying to take it back.
-
Yes, give it to the Lord. He will take care of your needs, so try not to worry and know how pleased He is with you and what you do for others. Please pray for me today, I am teaching the 3rd and 4th graders today in Sunday School. They can be a little wild, but I love them, ha,ha!!! God bless you and have a wonderful Sunday!!! Kathy
