Some of these properly belong on Coonie's thread...

Athena
Your pictures are wonderful
-
It's impossible to imagine that so much love and beauty can exist in nature...it makes me cry with happiness sometimes:

-
And now.....(even though this lioness would die if she knew she had been pictured in such an undignified posture):

-
She looks so comfy.
-
I wish I had a cat. Sadly, I'm stuck with a butt-barking dog.
-
Well I woke up to poopydoop in the dog's bedding again, this morning. Of course Lilah was covered in it, but not a spot on Virgil. He's hateful because I'm sure it was his. Doggy bath first thing in the morning!
-
Cats aren't much better - I have 3 and whenever the litter box is unacceptable (even though I scoop as soon as they poop), there is poop outside the box - this morning, right on the bedroom rug. I always blame DH for not changing it as frequently as they want. They misbehave and DH gets yelled at - the way it should be.
-
I had no trouble with Athena or Camilla or any of the other labs and German Shepherds we had growing up.
With cats, I was under the impression that their loss of accuracy was a sign of age or illness....maybe I'm wrong.
-
Hahahaha! I love cats! My daughter's cat is a pretty princess and never does a thing wrong, unless a cat can Love Too Much. She'll handle all your microdermabrasion needs with her scrubby little tongue. Maybe I should rent her out?
-
Cats are so clean - that is one way in which I prefer them to dogs. Athena use to love rolling in other animals' poop!
-
Hey Daisy - how are you doing? We've been missing you!
Edited to add that Athena has asked us (again) not to discuss this. So, please start a new thread! Thanks
-
Jesus, give it a rest.
-
Wow! I came on here after refusing to watch another "nothing" tv thing with DP and I missed all the good stuff. Good thing Althena got her big cats out to tame things down or Melissa would really be ready to get us in the morning. And "I" wasn't a part of it all! For once I was out of the "This is What Happens when you take Arimidex" soap opera! And I think most of you aren't even on Arimidex! Must be all that healthy food you are eating like the lettuce and spinach (ugh!) giving you the energy to go into combat. Isn't life glorious when the Mods are asleep or watching the Mardi Gras parades and we can have our wonderful "free for alls"?

Athena: Your animal photos are gorgeous! But I really want to see a photo of Enjoyful's dog who barks out of his butt! "E" you can make big bucks with a dog like that. Take him on the road and let him or her do their "butt barking" for an audience. Lady Gaga is asking over $200 for tickets to her show this weekend (My DD is going with her friend) and I bet even "she" can't do that trick! Thank goodness she can't or the tickets would go for double! My DD has a gorgeous Himalayan cat but she can't do anything with her butt but lay on it. Can't make any money out of that cat but we do love her!
Remember ladies the secret word is "be nice" no matter how angry you get. Do it with a smile!

I'm gonna report that post.
-
Athena,
Cats are wonderful, but they are basically know-it-all vengeful little furballs. I think every cat I have had (8 in total, no more than 3 at a time) has "had an accident" when the litter box wasn't up to their standards (which are pretty dang high). We had one that would get so POed about the litter box, he would make certain we were watching him and then he would "have an accident" on the dining room rug or the towel on the floor in the bathroom. It led to being ostracised for at least a day or two, but in his opinion, it was worth it. Needless to say, DH always got yelled at. I am input manager and he is output manager. It's just how we split the duties.

Hello it has nothing to do with libel and everything to do with censorship. Ask your lawyer about that.
-
Just because the name offends me. The Lizard KIng Never Lies!
-
-
-
And I'm not gonna get into a pissing contest with you Daisy.
-
Phasers on ignore.
-
OH - so Daisy isn't the only one with multiple names. The plot thickens.
-
Medigal -
I only wish she barked out of her butt! She barks AT her butt because it hurt her a few weeks ago. The problem was, ahem, rectified but she still worries about it. Hence the barking. Hence the xanax (for me!).

Watch.....lions hunt crocs, but that wouldn't touch Jim:

FRACTURED FAIRY TALE
There was once a beautiful maiden named blue. And it came about that she had DBS antennas implanted in her head that gave her magical superpowers.
One lovely day she was sitting around with a cold and a bad cough thinking to herself "I need to stop hacking my lungs up long enough to go get in and check my emails and PMs". And the magic antenna transmitted that message out into the vastness of the universe.
But in one small corner of the kingdom the receivers were malfunctioning. The message was thought to be "blue is hacking our emails and PMs". Panic ensued throughout the land. Rumors flew through the air on a flight of fantasy. And it was bad.
And it was all blue's fault for having those super duper antenna. And a hacking cough.
And the receivers still have not been repaired.
THE END

Enjoyful: Your last post??? Have they driven you over the cliff? You have a dog that barks out of it's butt and now you are calling on the Lord??? Eat more spinach or a LOT of chocolate. That's what helps me in times of stress. Spinach leaves dipped in melted chocolate with chopped peanuts and a big bottle of Coke (the cola one!). Have a good evening. There's always tomorrow to look forward to (for some of us, I hope.)
-
And here is true meal sharing - for when post number five comes up:

-
Medigal -
It's a mad, mad, mad, mad thread. Leave butt-barking dogs lie, I always say.
To the spinachmobile!
