No problemo Athena.
-
Just have to add: I have no offspring (male or female) to brag about, but I just KNOW that I was the best daughter! So there!
Medigal -- glad to see you back with us!

Blue
All that drama and no hacking? by golly you are owed a gold plated apology by anyone who even thought you would waste your time hacking that site. IMO
Rosemary

You mean it wasn't hacked after all that hoopla. Well that's weird.

Lindasa: No fair! You can't brag about yourself. You have to get a mom or in certain circumstances a father to blow your horn for you. Anyway, you have to take "Second Best Daughter" crown. MY kid gets to be first even if I have to take Shirley and Blue together in the ring to prove it!

So good to be home again! It was a looooooooong time away. I am trying to read Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" so I don't say the wrong things on here any more. I think the book I usually read "How to Lose Friends and Make Enemies" is not doing me much good!

Note: For any lurkers and new members: If I have a smiley face by a remark, it means, I'm kidding!! Ok?

Medigal, Good Heavens, don't go about schooling yourself in the niceties of not offending anyone. You will lose your wit, creativity and meaning.
Early stage cancer is like crossing the Mafia and getting away with it. You live, but must forever glance over your shoulder.

I won't hold my breath waiting for an apology. Can you believe it, I just got a pm basically blaming me for wasting the time of the moderators on each site. It's MY fault, they thought the forums were hacked Unbelievable!
-
Wow - what a feat of high-level intellectual reasoning! (((Blue)))

Ok ladies I am have just a couple of things to say and I should be done.......(maybe a few)
(waiting for everyone to stop clapping)
First of all Athena I am not sure how this thread ended up being the Dr. Phil BC.ORG thread but things happen.......
Second of all I want to apologize to Blue and all you here for my outburst yesterday.....as you could tell my feathers were a bit ruffled......
the conversation between Blue and I should have taken place in private but for some reason I couldn't seem to control my fingers.....
but Blue I did defend you at the satellite location......don't forget.....and I was not going to apologize for what someone else said to you.....I don't want anyone speaking for me and I will not speak for other people....(or think for anyone else for that matter)
as far as the other location being hacked or not hacked I have not heard the same information as Blue....not that I am disagreeing with her just I have not seen any information from the webmaster there one way or another......
and this message is both to Blue and Bren......I told you guys who I thought was up to all this disruption.....the same person that has been disrupting bc.org since she has been a member and was permanently banned.........unfortunately she has never left.....she should try getting a life.....
Medikook this message is to you.....I know you got your feelings hurt by your nickname but don't feel bad......there were some women here that didn't care for me a while ago (go figure) and they use to call me snott......I used it as a screen name at another site for a while.....I am really not sure how you do it but you managed to fumble your way into the back door of a point and somehow make some sense...........
and since this also seems to be the Cher Farewell Tour Thread I will leave you ladies to it......doesn't mean I won't be back.....how many Farewell tours did Cher have......but I have other places to go and things to do......snott

Hey Shokk, nor do I - but it sounds more like an old Geraldo show thread to me at this point. Or Jerry Springer without the sex but with a lot of the intrigue. I wonder why????
-
((((((((Shokk)))))))))
-
I'll add the ((shokk)) - I like you - you speak your mind even if it is totally detrimentalto my once passive little fundraising thread (lasted for about six posts).
Please, I don't want to hear about the other site here again, though. It's just TMI, given all of the other sub-plots we've got going on here, and which I am naive enough to try to address. I just wish some of us could be heard and speak as honestly as you do, but your friends (not you, I know) delete us, so while you spread you wings (which is your right) we have to tiptoe. I am bloody sick and tired of being silenced. Nobody f**ks with me without my consent, and that is why I started this thread and appeal. I want to be in a place where any rudeness is measured in open terms, in the sunshine, and not by cowardly deletions. And where deletions can be made, but for legitimate reasons, such as because of spam, cruelty, bigotry and threats. As for anything else, including another site, etc.... I respect and understand people's concerns/experiences but I have no idea what is going on beyond what is said here and I really don't want to. After all, it's none of my bloody business, is it? My moth-to-flame syndrome is perhaps less severe than I thought.
And if everybody else disagrees, please say so, everyone, and we will hear about that other site to your hearts' content, because no one person gets to stifle free speech here. I only use "I" sentences because I can't speak for anyone else.
Here is some free speech from me:

And, paradoxically for a carnivore, BRUSSELS SPROUTS (with Barbara's recipe).

Athena, I LOVE your lioness photos -- so fitting for International Women's Day! (International Lionesses Day too!).
-
Lionesses rule, Lindasa!
-
Didn't I tell you the "hacking of the other site" was a red herring?!!!

WHHOOOOOAAAAA! This was to Shokk. Who are the "friends" you are speaking of? That's a bold statement to make. Do you have proof who were the deleters?
-
Yes, Shirley, I have taped conversations, expert testimony, court dates, arrest warrants, judgements and diplomatic cables back and forth.....

But it's all being heard by a secret court, since National Security issues are at stake.

-
Blue, I'm putting this here because you have said you were innocent of hacking. I've already told you on the other site that I didn't think you did any hacking. But, you did say this on the other site about this site and I think people are confused as to why you keep saying you were being accused. That is the ONLY reason for posting this:

Laura, I don't think anyone was implying you deleted that last post, but there is one person/etc/etc/etc/etc. who can't stay away from that thread.
Edited to add......this is becoming a stalking matter now as its the same girls being deleted. The post yesterday broke no rules. I'm gonna have to look into getting some software which gives the poster's IP address regardless of proxies, and then get in touch with the provider. What's happening is not only wrong, it's dangerous. Somebody has crossed the line IMO!

Athena, thanks for filling me in.
-
?????? I think I fell asleep and missed a couple days.
-
Shirley - I hesitate to reply here because Athena nicely asked us to take the discussion elsewhere. Why don't you start a new thread about it? I would ask you to look at what you've written and see if it says one single word about software that hacks into a system and steals pmails and passwords. The software described in that post is designed to ferret out sock puppets. Got it?
-
And that proves what? Why don't you dig up the other posts I made saying that if I found anything like that that I was gonna give Melissa the heads up. I know nothing about forum coding.
-
I'm ROFLMAO. You guys don't think sometimes. If I had found that kind of software, logic dictates that It would have been used here, so why would I hack into another forum. The deletions were happening here nowhere else. Good grief! Think!
