I will be flying next week for the first time since surgery.  I lost my hair to chemo and was wondering if they will make me remove my hat/scarf when I go through security.  Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I wore a scarf when I recently flew, along with a face mask since I was just 7 days out of chemo and WBC so low.  No one said a thing, I had a heavy sweater over my top and they asked if I would be comfortable removing this before I went thru scanner, I could have said no, but it was not an issue, so I did.  Feel like I got some sympathetic looks.

I have flown several times while wearing hats/scarves and never been asked to take it off. Do oyu need a lymphodema sleeve if you had nodes removed? My onc recommended one as a precautionary measure every time I fly.
