I've noticed many supportive messages to one another mixed in amongst other posts in different threads, I thought it might be good to start a thread where we could support each other as we undergo surgeries, procedures, diagnostic testing or just routine check-ups.

    OK, I'll start with sending evebarry all my best wishes for her upcoming surgery.  Will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, that all will go smoothly with your surgery and recovery, and especially that you will NOT have any flare-up of your RSD.  (I can relate to your RSD - my Mom had a pretty severe case and I believe I have a very mild case, so can "understand" your concerns!!!)

    Excellent idea.  This will help maintain the singleness of purpose of the threads.

    Evebarry, I am thinking of you and am going to send you a personal message. I just have been running in too many directions and not getting enough done.  I hope to communicate with you in the very near future.

    My surgery is Tuesday, March 8th.

    Wendy, I'm having a pain block before surgery to hopefully protect me from a possible pain syndrome.

    Hi may I join? I'll be seeing my onc for a follow-up this Wed 23rd. Nervous because he always checks for cancer marker. Please pray for good results. Thank you!

    Will be keeping both of you (evebarry and DiamondGirl) in my thoughts and prayers! 

    Evebarry: so glad for the update. Will be praying that all goes well with your surgerty on MArch 8th AND that nerve block will be effective and you will not have RSD flare up.

    DiamondGirl - will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers this week and until you get your tumor markers back. My oncologist tests for tumor markers too!! and I know I'm always on edge (fearing and thinking the worse) and holding my breath until the results come back (and so far have been good)

    Evebarry: Thanks for the update - so glad you're doing OK. Hope you're RSD stays in check and that you get the "best" possible pathology report tomorrow. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
