-
Sandee - You don't need an excuse for the occasional glass of wine. Glad you are having a good time.
-
Sandeeonherown You amaze me with your 12 miles walked.....I think that justifies a lot of good time which=booze......indulge girl you deserve it!
Jo I am so glad that you joined us last nite as it wouldn't be the same with out our cooker gal......us girls did have a good nite now didn't we.....
Chevyboy I know you can hear and are probably talking every-ones ears off, but where are you???? We need you here....
Tink how are you today? I hope you are going to have a wonderful weekend with the fam.....
Sherry Are you still sleeping well?
ECG still thinking about you!
A little disappointed today as the scale is up 5lbs. Do you think I need a new scale? Just mad at myself as I let myself indulge in all that Jo cooks us......(just kidding) Changing the clocks next week, I hope I get motivated to kick some butt and drop these 5 that I gained as I feel huge......Yes can we say major PMS. Girls I am 24 days late and my next cycle is to visit me on Wed if I get anything at all.....do you think this lack of period threw my whole body off and that is why I am up 5? Just asking as I am so disappointed as I lost 20 and still need to lose 20 more to look like Tink.......I used to be a thin girl prior to children......ARGH! However I am going to the gym with hubby for a major weight session.....legs still hurt when I go up and down the stairs....
Happy weekend ladies!!
-
Morning Ladies!
June, I think that once we have kids, our bodies are never quite the same LOL! I keep saying that I need to start back up with my pilates and I just haven't done it yet :P
I'm kind of interested to see what my periods will be like now that I'm on tamox. They used to arrive like clockwork.....

June I think with being late and the hormones just don't know what to do can cause weight gain as well. I use to feel so puffy before my hysterectomy
Had a wonderful evening with kids visiting. Stayed ip way to late but took my ambiem an slept until the phone rang at 8:30 this morning. Kids r still sleeping. They are high energy so we will go go all day -
Thank you ladies for thinking of me!
I had my exchange yesterday and all went smoothly. I am in more pain today then I thought I would be though! But my body didn't do well with the expansion process either. He did have to do some opening up of the pockets on one breast so that is part of it. I have the "flat hamberger bun" look right now and they feel less projected and wide, hopefully they will drop and fluff nicely.
I had my onc appt the day before my surgery but my Onc was so behind I was unable to see her. Had to see the NP, which I really like also, but she ends up having to take notes and confer and get back with me. I gave her my symptoms that I've been having with the Tamox and told her I went off the Tamox this week for surgery (my choice, just decided to do it) and she said that was fine that they would of probably asked me to do that anyway for a week to see how the symptoms went....which they all went away (except the insomnia) So, the nausea-weird tummy feeling, irritableness, quick zaps of brain pains on left side of my head (these concern me) etc have all gone since I haven't been taking. I will start back up next week however. We are still waiting on the results of yet another retest of my Protein C (one of about 5 blood clotting tests that came back low several times now...all the rest are normal) All other bloodwork was normal also. Also, my blood was "thick" last week at my blood draw per the girl who has taken it now at least 20 times. I could actually feel that as well as she was taking the tubes. So, those three things combined make me wonder about this Tamoxifen. Who knows!! So we will see! My iron levels have increased very well. Still on the low side. Will do more bloodwork and check vitamin D levels again also in 3 weeks.
Oh and, lol, my gynecologist's nurse called me on Thurs and said my gyn had taken a look at my recent US and wants to have a consult with me about my "options". hmm I'm guessing he wants to see if I want to take them out with all the cyst activity I'm having. One less place for cancer to go?? Plus, the uterus too maybe with whole heavy periods thing, fighting the anemia every month. Gosh, does it ever end? My NP did say that "typically"...and she laughed and said 'I use that word lightly concerning Tamoxifen'... yes don't we know that!!!...but that periods might start out that way but then usually get lighter as treatment goes.
So thats my week in review!! I am sorry I have not been able to keep up with everyone since all of this going on. I hope you are all doing well on the Tamoxy Train and have a beautiful Saturday....it's so nice here, 60's but rain tomorrow, so I will enjoy today!
-
Hope everyone is having a great Saturday. I have to tell you, the Lyrica is not only keeping the toe pains down, but giving me some really good sleep. I have been getting up once in the night instead of 4 -5 times. Wake up really rested and ready to go. I have been up 2 hours and already have 2 loads of laundry done, breakfast out of the way and will be heading out soon to Wal Mart to get groceries. I have my sites on doing some sewing on a quilt today. Can't do much outside since we are getting some much needed rain.
Wow! I almost forgot what is was like to feel this way. I'm loving it!
-
Surfette ~ congratulations on the good news. Treat yourself to something nice. Maybe a nice mani.pedicure.
Eastcoast, glad your surgery is done. Hope you rest when you can. Hoping your pain stays to a minimum. Did you get silicone or saline? I had saline first surgery then swapped them out for round silicone. I am much happier now and will get nips the end of April. Feel GOOD !
Tink sorry you are down ! Feel better.
I have to work tomorrow (realtor) and do an open house and it is supposed to rain on my "overpriced" listing ~ ugh ! Hoping hubby will come with me as it is not in a great town I don't want to be alone there. So I am grouchy and tired today.
But this too shall pass !
Have a great Saturday girls.

Hi you guys...I still don't have them yet....The tech at Costco has been out with the dang flu! So he finally called yesterday, sounding all sick & whiny, & said I could come in Monday at 4:30...So after I threw a tantrum in my own head, I felt better....

Sherrycdon't you hate that the phone wakes you before the kids gets up.........glad to hear you had a wonderful evening last night, you deserve it.
Vikki how long have you been on Tamox? I used to be like clockwork, but this could be a combination of aging as I am the big 45.....
