Diamondgirl congrats hope you get the job.

June I would call my MO.  If I called my primary he would tell me to call my MO

Well the warm flushes have turn to hot flashes and the insomnia is back.  I must have a build up of this crap in my body.  At least the nausea is not back. I can be thankful for that. Tonight will be an ambien night for sure.

I spoke to the RO nurse yesterday and she said this dull ache I have in my rads breast is normal.  She would tell most people to take Aleve or ibuprofen but I am allergic  so she said Tylenol instead of Aspirin.

So it is "tink tiny?"  Is she like a Tinker-toy?  Ha!  You girls are probably to young to remember what THOSE are.... June...just take your treats & run!  I have to hide mine behind my back, & not let little Lacee see them, but once she smells them, I have to share...( I mean my dog, not anyone else) Wink  We both like to "share" a cheese stick...

Ok so if Tink and June are fighting over the ice cream, who wants to share those yummy strawberries with ME !  :)

You girls really are great ~ I like that in the midst of starting on an awful journey into the dark world of breast cancer, you girls bring light and humor to it all while lending support.  I do not know what I would do without this site.  It is hard for people to understand what it is like to be told you have CANCER.  You girls get it and I am very thankful for you all.  I love following those of you on FB and on our great thread here.

CHEVY !!! 74 you sound like you are 44.  (what I will be in May)  LOL  ARE you kidding?  You can hear ~~~~  THAT IS WONDERFUL, so glad the tamoxifen is leaving your system.  I agree who needs that pill at your age.  I am sure you will be just FINE!

Sherry ~ grrrr on those darn hot flashes and insomnia.  For me it comes and goes in spurts as well.

Sandee ~ hope you have a great trip, and I say ditch those underwire bras.  I wear those Rhonda Shear bra's they sell on QVC or HSN one of those channels...  I had a double mastectomy and now have implants I was sore from September of 2009 until recently.  I can only wear a soft stretchy support bra nothing molded.

Jo thanks for the great food pictures they really help me on my diet, at least it is just a virtual CHEAT !  :)

Have a great day my tamoxibabes !!!

    sandee..Have a great trip!!!

Lets keep in mind I have 2 teenagers at home and all the good treats go fast! lol!!!!.  I guess the only real solution is double dessert night huh ? Smile

Is anyone else having trouble viewing this thread?  Everytime I click it on it gives me the top of the page with no discussions.  Then I have to click on the last page number and scroll to the bottom to figure out where I left off.  I reported it to techinal support just wondering if anyone else if having the problem?  It is also happeining on the Natual Girls thread.

I am having the same problem - I have to click to the last page and then click to the bottom of the page before I can do anything.  I thought it was just me.

Chevyboy - I will share those strawberries with you.  I make enough food - glad someone else is providing goodies.  Guess we will have to separate June and Tink.

Tink - If you can't control your teenagers - well they deserve the treats.  Double dessert tonight?  What did you have in mind?  Didn't think I would pick up on that did you?

Sherry - Sorry you are having insomnia.  I know what it is like.  I sleep good for a couple of nights and then I am up.  Hope I can make it through today.

Alicia - In spite of all we have been through, we have to laugh at ourselves and have some fun.  That is what we used to do - laugh and have fun - we can do that again and this is a great place to start.  I love all the ladies here and am so glad to have found them.

Sandee - Have A Great Trip.  We want details when you get back.

I want to thank all the ladies here for allowing me to put my humor into this thread.  It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction.  Makes my day every day.

    Have A Great Day Tamoxbabies.

Sherryc OMG the same thing here as I have to click back a page.....I thought it was just me as this has only been recent, thanks fro reporting it....sorry about the insomnia, that totally stinks.....I had it for awhile and then it subsided.  Are you splitting the pills?  If not are you doing morning or night?  When I had really bad insomnia I switched to morning and it really helped.  Also I am sure my brain was just so worried about all the possible SE and as the months went on it really did get better......praying yours will go away soon.....

Jo I love Tink as much as you and separating us would do no good........I promise to behave if she does....ha ha

Chevyboy Are you there?  Can you hear us all yet, it gets pretty loud on this thread.....

Alicia so very well said as I feel the same and I have so many women who get us......I just love it here!!!

Off to Olive Garden tonight for there yummy salad, feeling really fat these day.....hugs to all you special women!

thanks June--I currently take it at night and that was because of my nausea.  Now that the nausea seems to be ok I may try to switch to days and see if it helps with insomnia.

Tink, June and SherryC ~ thanks for the well wishes, I am waiting for the 2nd interview :)

I too have dull ache on the bc side and axilla and allergic to Aleve and IB.  Have you tried Naproxen Sodium?  That's the only thing I can take that will take care of slight infection.  Tylenol doesn't do much for me.

As for insomnia, my onc wrote me Ambien, it knocked me out good and was very groggy the next day, so guess what, my DH is taking them instead.  He's always trying my sleeping pills and he keeps taking mine.  Funny!

Yes, I noticed the browsing jumps to the top of page instead of the last page of the thread.  It is also hard to hit a reply on PM using mobile device.

Chevyboy ~ that desert looks delicious.  Got any more?  I'm glad you can hear again.

    Sandee ~ have a fun trip :)

Hi Ladies, It has been awhile since I have been here. Glad to be playing catch-up.  I have been on Tamoxifen for 13 months now. I had very bad hot flashes when I started so my onc put me on Effexor 50 mg.(not XR) It worked wonderfully but I am now wanting to get off the Effexor. This is day one and I am pretty much in a fog, light headed, and a  bit shakey. I told my onc the last time I saw her that I wanted to wean off the Effexor 50mg. She suggested taking the Effexor 50 mg every other day. I was wondering if anyone has been through this  weaning process. I would  appreciate any suggestions. Have a Beautiful Day

Maryturkout ~ I weaned off another anti-depressant several years ago and I was doing every other day and then it was halved.  Sorry you are feeling foggy and shakey, I know how that feels.  Perhaps if you will take half the pill and wean it that way, it worked too.  You can do it.  Good luck!

Hi everyone!! I am so glad there is no fighting on this thread as there are on some of the others. I have enough stress in my life without fighting with my BC buddies!

Anyhow, I had my stupid colposcopy this morning, get the results next wednesday. I am so afraid my gyn is gonna want to do a hysterectomy since I am so ER+ him and my Onc are gonna gang up on me I just know it. UGH! Or I am gonna be back to getting a pap every 3 months...II can't decide what I'd rather do..get bloodwork...go to the dentist or pull out my eyelashes.

Hope everyone is having a lovely afternoon.

DiDel-good luck on your results hope everything turns out good.  I am 48 and had a hysterectomy when I was 34 but kept my ovaries.  Best thing I ever did, don't miss it a bit.  My MO says since I am BRACA neg I don't need to worry about my ovaries and let the tamox do its job.

You guys just move way too fast for me.

June & Tink - I forgive you.  Promise you will be on your best behavior the rest of the day and I will see what I can come up with tonight.  And Tink, I did pick up on the hint of two desserts.  When will it ever end?  LOL

DiDel - Seems we have way too much fun on this thread to fight.

Sherry - Glad to hear the nausea is gone - such a good feeling.  Maybe switching to mornings will help.  I already take mine in with breakfast and I have been sleeping pretty good.
