Ladies,  I have found this website to be a great help. Thanks to all of you out there. The other night my DH and I had a heart to heart - he asked questions he's been afraid to ask, and I told him things I didn't think I'd share. I also told him about this site and how helpful it's been to me.....then, I got to wondering, where do the DHs go to ask their questions. Is there a site for them somewhere? If anyone knows please tell, I'd like him to get the support from guys that I get from you all.

There is the forum section on this site called:

For Family & Friends of Those Who Have Breast Cancer
Living with and supporting someone you love who has breast cancer.
    http://community.breastcancer.org/forum/16

Many topics to investigate there or he can start his own.

Keep up the good work sharing too!  My husband and I went through the same thing.  Actually when I learned about my diagnosis, he was deployed!!!  So I didnt tell him because I knew he would dwell on it and not be able to do anything about it.  It was me and my best friend at my first appointments....when I finally told him, he was in denial for a few weeks.  One day I said enough and really had a chat with him.  I didnt realize that I wasnt sharing everything because I had my BFF in those first days.  He has been doing great since.  What also helps him is being more vocal at my appointments.  The more we talk about it, the easier it is getting to share.  Its bringing us even closer.

I believe the american cancer society has a support network for families too.
