The cat with the baby chicks reminds me of the time we spent a weekend with friends who were hatching chicks in their family room.  As they hatched she would mov e them to a brooding box.  Our seven pound dog, Heidi, stood guard over those chicks all day.  That evening when my friend & I put the chicks on the floor long enough for Sandy to changes the papers in the box and put in food and water Heid lay down and tried to get them to nurse.  We later discovered she even had produced milk. 

I ABSOULTELY LOVE THIS THREAD!!!! Thank you sisters.

I really like some of the animated pictures.  Is there any way to post an animated picture on facebook without losing the animation feature????
