The leader introduces the blessing in these words:

We have gathered today to pray together, that we may grow in our understanding of the mystery of faith and follow God's path more closely.

after a time of silence, then pray...

Lord,

pour out on us the spirit of understanding, truth and peace.

Help us to strive with all our hearts to know what is pleasing to you,

and when we know your will make us determined to do it.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

St Micheal the Archangel, defend us in battle

Please be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, oh Prince of the Heavenly Host.

By the power of God, cast into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits, who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Oh Mother of the word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer us.

Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to You. Allow your healing hand to heal me. Touch my soul with Your compassion for others. Touch my heart with Your courage and infinite love for all. Touch my mind with Your wisdom, that my mouth may always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in my need, and help me to lead others to You by my example. Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring me health in body and spirit that I may serve You with all my strength. Touch gently this life which You have created, now and forever. Amen

We come humbly come before you asking that you hear our prayers.  Bless these faith filled women every single day as they come before You in prayer and thanksgiving.

Bless our newest sisters that have joined us...give them peace and surround them with your warm embrace.

Allow your healing white light to come to us, surround us, fill us, and protect us from the evil that wants us to give into it... 

May we all feel the blessings you bestow on us each day...
