101 things you can do with foobies
Comments

What a great image, m-star! But, please don't let the airlines know that a chicken fillet (or other foobie) is a potential weapon !
-
I got an idea about a game using foobies and other medical equipment. Put everything out on a table and ask people (at a party maybe?) to identify each item and what they have in common (used in bc treatment/management) and give out prizes. Better yet, empty out the gel, fill with an adult beverage of choice and attach a straw. Oh, yeah, how about using it as a cushion for when I put my feet up on the overturned bucket I use as a footstool outside on the deck.
I wonder what would happen if I put the foobie in the microwave for a few minutes on HIGH?
-
this thread is a hoot- having just gotten the darn things and fed up after only about 3 wearings..i don't know what would happen if we nuked em in the micro but if it exploded i think i would feel better.
I think if you hurled em at hubby when he made you mad he wouldn't do it again..maybe,,
im sure as i think on this and pack the brand new foobies away for good something will come up. you know how it is you put something away you find out what you can use it for...
-
So when you move home in the future and you accidentally leave them behind in the attic.. Boy, is your purchaser going to get a surprise!!
Im not sure about the microwave, I use mine too much to take the risk. I mean the micro, not the foobie, i'd quite like to watch the foobie come to a bad end. Supposing it went off like popcorn?!
-
"I wonder what would happen if I put the foobie in the microwave for a few minutes on HIGH?"
Hot tits?
This thread is hilarious!!!
I wonder if hubby could request a testical implant? Insurance has to pay for breats reconstruction!
We make quite a pair, I have no boobs and he only has one testical
-
If I recall correctly, testicular implants have been covered by insurance for decades. After all, that's an important and functional part of a male's anatomy! A breast is just a lump of fat, after all, and not a functional part of a woman's body.
-
Just found this post again. I laugh at how I thought of using the foobie for drug running and now, of course, we have full body scans that detect foobies. I wonder if the gel counts towards the 100ml of liquids we are allowed on the plane?
Love the idea of filling it with drink and sticking a straw in.
-
I think I bought mine last year and have only bothered to wear them 3 times.
One time in the summer I found them so hot and unconfortable I took them off in the car and threw them in the back seat.Where they stayed for weeks. -
Just reading and bumping up for others to enjoy and get a laugh!!
If I had enough spares I could sting them together to use as a bouy line in the pool!
-
Oh what a hoot, Thank you for resurrecting this!
Now Nativemainer, i totally failed to spot your logic there, how is a testicular implant any more functional than a breast implant? Does it make sperm, I don't think so, any more than a bag of saline makes milk. I think iif the insurance covers them, then it should cover breast implants too or NormaJune could have a case for sex discrimination.
Mumayan that would be such an interesting way to test the honesty and tact of potential sons-in-law, or garage, mechanics...are they still there? i do tend to leave mine lying around, as i sometimes rip it off when i get in, and have to do a quick check before DD brings anyone home...

Well in the summer my worst nightmare came true! Was visiting at friends with DH and having an evening swim. Foolish me decided to go off the diving board headfirst (no pocket in swimsuit). A few seconds after floundering to the surface I was aghast to realise my foob had gone AWOL! Now it was getting dark and I was panicking cause how do I get everyone to help look for foobie especially girlfriends hubby???? GAWD!!!! I could not find or see it and didn"t begin to know where to look in huge pool! Surface? Bottom??? Drain???? EEK!! Had no choice but to ERRR ERRR Hey Guys..........I lost my foob! If ya find it toss it over!!!hahaha We roared and roared I was laughing till I was crying tears and thus we joked about playing "Toss the Tittie"!!!
Next time...........pockets in the swimsuit! AHHHH

This thread is too funny, thanks for bumping it back up where I could catch it!

Last month my teenage daughter had to do a physics experiment/contest for school called the "egg-drop". The kids have to figure out a way to wrap up an egg and then drop it 20 feet and have it not crack. Well, you guessed it - we wrapped the egg in my foobs. I am sad to report that the egg did not survive the fall and broke despite the foob cushion. Still, it sure was satisfying to see those things thrown out our 2nd story window. (They clean up pretty well, too) I am sort of glad it failed because if it worked, I wasn't quite sure how she was going to explain exactly what it was to her male physics teacher.

For the first time since I've joined this forum, you guys had me laughing. I've been going through a bad time for the last 2 1/2 years and have posted such. Since my expander was installed 6 mos ago, I realized how glad I was not to wear a foobie anymore. As someone said, it weighs like an anchor and was a pain to put on every day. I also have a swim foobie which was useless because the swimsuit pocket and foobie floated away from my body in the water exposing my chest. I had to discreetly adjust it before getting out. These items cost me a fortune in deductibles and I didn't want to just throw them away until after my implant surgery this week. Once it "takes", I'll re-read your fun ideas or come up with a new one that I will post. Burning $600 worth (including pocket bras) would make a nice smoky fire.
-
Well maybe when my foob wears out I can turn it into a denture cup down the road! Or how about ear muffs!
-
oh!! thanks for resurrecting this thread.. i've laughed my arse off tonite. wanted to say; on a serious note, if you're SERIOUSLY thinking about getting rid of any foobs, go to Pinkstock.com. a sister here will take them thru the mail from you, and send them onto another sister here from BCO who doesn't have ins.. she also donates nice, homemade crocheted ones.. pm me if ya can't find her.. thanks for the laffs, for sure, i'll be back!! 3jaysmom

PinPDX... OMG, that is hysterical!
Well, I have quite the collection of foobies and every now and then my 2 little girls will get them all out and wear them on their heads. They look like little foobie yamikas... Foobikas??
-
Someone should put this in a book with appropriate cartoons to go with each - laughter is good medicine - may not heal anything but it does gave us a break from reality - reality, which, by the way, is greatly over-rated.
-
Great idea motherofpatient! The book could also include some of the funny moments we've had while wearing or purchasing foobs.
-
Had to bump this...
I am using my foobie and bra as a purse... I tuck my creditcard, cash and drivers license in one of the pockets and my iphone, Lipstick and keys in the other. From the outside you can not tell anything is in there.. I have had a few odd looks when my phone starts to ring... LOL

Thank you all for the laughs...I am just not creative enough to add anything...but I really wanted you all to know that I needed that...Thanks for the thread...Know that it lives on...
By the time I got to the microwave, I started to laugh so hard that I thought I might accidently do something to my drains...
Thank you all...
-
OMG!!! My fifteen year old daughter and I are just reading through these and laughing our butts off! She goes to online high school so that she can spend more time with me.
Sometimes I throw mine at my son when he asks for a pair of socks...he's 12 1/2. I've also tossed it at his friends before, taken it out at the bar and put it on the table we were at, left it in the back seat of my car while shopping.
I'm so small that they had to give me a pad for the other side because the smallest one was bigger than the one I still had...easier to smoosh the real deal down!
I love this place! Makes metastatic breast cancer much funner and a lot less depressing!!!
-
I just love this thread...so I am bumping it...
-
Hmmmmmm.......party idea! Hang foob on wall, blindfold players, winner is person who pins the nip it right spot!!!
-
Well someone at my local pool must have found a use for the foobie I left there by mistake last week. It was my swim foobie. When I realized that I had left it, I went back and looked through the Lost and Found. When it wasn't there, I went up to the teenage male clerk and asked him if he had seen my breast. ..... OK,. I didnt actually ask him that... but I was going to just to see his face. But I did ask him if anyone had handed in a clear gel triangle thing. No luck... some kid is probably playing with it at home now! I have had to order a new one.
Maybe a sister thread to this one should be "What have you used instead of a foobie?" like Kezzie's post.
-
My dog thinks the featherweight forms are just lovely toys. I can't imagine what will happen when I get to graduate to silicone...
-
I nursed my daughter until she was about 22 months. I got my foob when she was 2 and when she saw it she tried to latch on. Maybe it could have been a pacifier. No I did not let her latch to it.
-
bump (actually fishing for humor)...:)
-
Just thought we might all want a chuckle...yes, I will just keep bumping this thread from time to time...it is just too enjoyable!
