I am Thankful that this weekend I will be able to see my sister cousin and niece before I start my treatment. Also for My God who has taken care of me. I was told at the support meating at the hospital that I seem very peaceful only God can do that in the mist of the storm.

I, like Eph, am so very thankful for my job, the benefits, my family and my BCO friends. Juanita, we have two black labs, young females. We lost our dear Shadow several years ago, another black lab. I love my "girls" and they give my life so much more than without them. Simple joys, simple pleasures.

Good Morning everyone God is so good. My daughter and I are leaving for Maine in the morning can't wait to go. Hope and pray for us for a great drive. Than it is time to start treatment . Oncologist appt on Mon. But this weekend I will try and have some fun and forget about everything else. Thanks for all you prayers.

Linniea, I am so glad that you decided to go on a getaway with your daughter before tx starts. The energy of your words shifted into peacefulness and trust, and I want to share this scripture with you all today.

Here in Connecticut at our home church! My husband, a good friend, and our church all managed to surprise me with a wedding renewal this weekend. Today we celebrated 30 years of marriage. They flew our daughter over here and my favorite singer, Abigail Miller, whom I always wanted to meet! Abigail played and sang for the ceremony and then they had a reception for us! Will post pics later when someone sends them to me!!!

Today I attended the memorial service of one of the founding members of the church building I attend! It was inspiring too! She is dancing with Jesus tonight. How exciting is that?

well, on that note.. id ask for prayer for myself. my world feels like its' crashing down around me. so much is going on, and its' now infecting DH and i. thats' when i get nuts. had a complete meltdown today. nothing that anyone can really fix quickly. lots of things, issues, that've gotten put aside for more immediate things are now coming to a head. its' a scary, sad place to be. i know God is here, but, it hurts my heart...

We're all surrounding you with hugs.
Sometimes all of the details, the reality and the specifics just collide at the same time. It always intrigues me, as to what the 'final straw' on any given day might be for me.
Thankfully I am going longer & longer between meltdowns, but I can so empathize with you.
Know that we are all here, surrounding you with our collective love and encouragement.
Have a good cry, or pound a pillow -- let some of it 'out' and then find something to delight you.

I have a friend in my real life who is having a BILAT tomorrow. This is a recurrance for her after a 16 year interval. She has a young 13 year old daughter at home. I know that she'd appreciate knowing that others are holding her in prayer thru the coming week.

Hi girls I am back from Maine We had a wonderful weekend. Went out to eat for LOBSTER and it was so good. We also went to Freeport,Maine and did a little shopping. LL Bean, North Face ect. Bought a new pair of shoes. We saw a 1700 lb Moose made out of chocolate. Glad I made the trip.
Now back to the real world I saw my oncologist who said I would probably need Chemo Rad and Surgery. In which order I don't know yet. She is sending me for a pet scan I hope all is well with that. I see them both on the 28 of Feb. I just want to get the show on the road.
